#Would Fernando Alonso Be More Than 3 Times World Champion If He Would Had Good C...

I think theres a misconception that Alonso simply got unlucky with his career choices
He was responsible for a significant percentage of his misfortune
And its not just that he made some bad decisions, its his entire personality and narcissism that has held him back
Oh ur gonna get absolutely lit up by some people
Nah speaking with this guy is a waste of time
But for answering the poll
True
Bad career choices probably cost more WDCs to Fernando
Some people can’t handle the truth
An inability to accept criticism of your sports team/player is pretty common
Ok you can blame that for 2007
But what about 2010
Ferrari strategy
2012?
Grosjean
I guess you can say he shouldn’t have won 2010 bc Fernando is faster shouldn’t have happened
He literally rejected Red Bull in one of their most dominant eras
I’m trying to think the way dis dumbahh is
Sadly yes and it was a big mistake
He probably would have 4 or 5 more WDCs
But did they look dominant before that?
None of Alonso’s career moves except for going back to Renault look bad before hand. We are going from looking at results.
Ferrari is ferrari
Mclaren is mclaren
Alpine was a way back
Aston Martin promosing for the future?
Yeah he’s a terrible person
I’d be world champion if I made the right career choices just saying
Red Bull was considering him as Webber's replacement after 2013
Alonso rejected them and committed to a shit Ferrari in 2014
Although Red Bull underperformed as well but they were much better
How would he have known going into a reg change 😭
Sticking with an engine manufacturer looks better before hand doesnt it
2010 was a skill issue
Then he left Ferrari after ONE bad season
Performed mediocre against Button
Aimed for the Mercedes seat but they didn’t want him
And left the sport completely
Then dipped from Alpine because his teammate was too competent
Now he’s in his ideal situation
Terrible teammate who cannot challenge him, billionaire owner
But said team isn’t very good
Ultimately he was at both Mclaren and Ferrari who produced multiple championship contending cars over the last 20 years
But savaged his relationship with both of them due to his gigantic ego
tbf he was driving a glorified gp2 car
2007 was on him but 2015-2018 was definitely not his fault for mclaren relationship
From 2015-2018 he wasn’t performing at a particularly impressive level tbh
The team failed to produce a proper championship car for 5 seasons in a row
And he lost 2 chances to the title
Obviously after 2014 he'd be frustrated and wanted to leave
Guys there’s no point in arguing neither of you will agree with each other
Especially when you talk to a LH cult member lol
It’s clear you are biased and dislike fernando so there is no reason to argue with you : )
Not sure if 2007 was totally on him, rom dennis was very horny for a rookie world champion
but partially
yes
Just not true
In 2010 the car could’ve won the championship
2007 was on him when he blackmailed the team due to being mad at being beaten by a rookie
i could use the same excuse as lewis fan has used during the ground effect era
oh oh oh he cant drive with the downforce being generated from the floor
Alonso didnt like bridgestone : (
So could of the mclaren : D
But when it comes to lewis it was the team that failed him isn’t it
he so perfect
the McLaren was a worse car than the Ferrari lols
and Hamilton was the 2nd best driver that season, behind Kubica
it is notable how instantly you attacked Hamilton rather than defending Alonso though
Bro forget it
You're talking to a wall lol
it's more fun like that because you so biased and so am i
ok he still could of won
in your opinion
If he had won, it would only have been through the mistakes of other drivers
he took himself out in italy and the move in singapore was quite aggressive could of waited even though webber was more at fault
so you are in fact incorrect sadly
Didnt he also go wide multipile times in korea and could of won
it is also quite likely his suspension failure in spain was driver induced 🥀
2 racing incidents
just wasn’t…
compare that to alonso taking himself out at spa and ruining his own race at silverstone to score zero points
holy monza was not a racing incident
that is crazy bias
brundle believed so at the time
we not talking about alonso now twin
the thread is literally about alonso
i’m aware but i was disproving you saying lewis could of only won in 2010 if other drivers had made mistakes
arguing about something that happend 15 years ago is lowk crazy work though so i’m out
alonso clears 😌
whatever myths you wanna believe
