This happened in F2 last year at Monza (for P8 in the Sprint, which is the last points position, giving one point).
They split the point so they each got 0.5, with them both being classified P8, nobody P9, and then back to normal from P10.
I don't think splitting it really works, as in the highly unlikely occurence it happened for the win, both would get less points than third place, so it's not much of a reward.
Interesting discussion point though.
they both get 21.5 points, which is the mean of 18 and 25

imo it should be based on qualifying position, but whoever qualified lower, as they would have to travel more distance to earn the victory
think of le mans back in 1966
since mclaren and amon travelled more distance, they won instead of miles and hulme
even though they crossed the finish at around the exact same time
that's an interesting way to think about it
