actually maybe they do something where if its an error it gets deleted

but if its a mechanical issue it doesnt

I feel like being taken out of the rest of the session, along with repairs causing potential issues in the race or even a grid drop is already more than enough punishment

they dont get a grid drop or any sort of penalty... thats the main problem
