gamblers finna spend theyr life savings on that
Thankfully I don’t gamble (Anymore)
I never understood this aspect of F1
Is there even any money to be made Betting on the usual likely winners?
Or do people hedge on a different outcome? Like Piastri beating Max at Jeddah after he got Pole?
If you bet before qualifying then yes
Before qualifying it’s usually pretty open
After though the odds are cut
Is Quali more important than the race?
Monaco last year Leclerc went from like $6 to $1.30
In this age of clean air yeah
Street circuits you’ll see the biggest swings after qualifying
Other circuits with history like Suzuka will have a low swing, Spa and Silverstone tends to have less of a swing after qualifying
Right cause whoevers on pole is the likely victor
In Sazuka/Silverstone/Spa
But something like Miami is more tricky
