#What happens if multiple drivers dont set a time in q1?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
what if neither set times in free practice
then FP2 probably
or in championships standings order if no FP was completed
but idk, that's my guess
Does it say anything in regulations about this?
there was a rule (maybe still is) that if qualifying didn't happen, then the drivers line up in the championship order
what if 1st race of season?
redo quali
like, it's an impossible scenario for this amount of stuff to occur at the same time
yeah but what if
you'd need FP1, FP2 and FP3 to not occur and this situation in quali
then i'd line them up in championship order form last year
if only like 2 drivers didnt take part in any of the sessions
and if they are both rookies then WCC from last year
and if they are teammates then just by name in alphabetical order
also even with everybody having 0 points then championship standings are sorted by name
I believe drivers are also ordered in terms of how far they travelled on circuit.
E.g. Q1
P19 Ocon - No Time (crashed on flying lap)
P20 Tsunoda - No Time (did not exit garage due to mechanical problem)
i dont think they are
as you dont get put on driver standings until you cassify for a grand prix
same reason why he only had 14 drivers on the standings after melbourne, and why alonso is not on the standings currently.
