#What was the best season of the 21st century?

Not including 2021 and 2016 is surprising. I don't think 2024 was massively better than either of those.
2021 and 2016 was not much but a title fight - 2024 had 4 different teams that were all more or less on par with each other in terms of wins if we ignore the first few races
The title fight is the main thing. We had fully-fledged drivers and constructors fights, 13 podium finishers and 4 teams taking wins.
I know what you mean about 2024, but surely 2021 is of a similar calibre to 2007/08?
I don't know what was so special about 2003, but I wasn't watching F1 then so may have been the best of all.
2007 there was at least 3 in the title fight rather than just 2, and that was back in the era where there was literally action everywhere you look - when there was not much notice from the FIA of “dangerous driving”. Verstappen’s move in Mexico on Norris this year (which got him a 10 second penalty) happened numerous times every race in 2007, and it was amazing to see live.
2003 was a really good season aswell with 3 drivers in the title fight, aswell as there being 8 different winners. 2003 British GP was a stunner of a race, aswell as the Brazilian GP
