Ferrari was decent and he challenged a couple of times
then he got beaten by leclerc
and wasn't significantly better than stroll either
Alonso won earlier, is older, came closer than vettel did in arguably worse Ferraris, and is still incredibly quick and fit and consistently outdrives the car
not to mention fernando won le mans twice and led a good 20+ laps at indy before his engine blew

Yeah so as I said… a beast. He still drives like he’s 15 years younger than how old he really is too
He’s a testament to age really affecting a driver. Though it’s true, some can break that barrier like Fernando is doing… was only last year he was outperforming the Aston
(I think, Stroll isn’t really a massive barrier to overcome once you’re in F1)
He’s 43. Dude can probably race competitively for another 5 years if he wanted (though, 90% chance he will retire by then)

Fernando deserves so much respect for how good he is
he's not often regarded as one of the greats of F1 because he's only got 2 wdcs
but he's absolutely one of the greats of all motor racing history
