is it just me who doesn't understand the appeal for liveries from like the 80s and before

they are just plain cars with a bit of colour because of a sponsor

sure they look really nice

but these cars are just plain black and white respectively

with a bit of sponsor gold lines and then the martini colours

but people are always worshipping these liveries and others like Marlboro when there's barely anything going on
