I get that Ferrari had a swoop to make, but at the same time a wheel hasn’t even been turned for a shakedown let alone a test and a race and already Carlos got dropped.

Ferrari didn’t even give a goodbye or thank you to Carlos either when they announced Lewis.

it always seemed to me that Ferrari was holding Carlos back whenever they had to decide if to let him pass or not, but they didnt have any problem letting Leclerc doing his thing, even disputing the last spot on the podium in monza. whats more crazy, Carlos was their only win last year, so in the eyes of many they were just unfair.

imo, Ferrari should have replaced Leclerc. I’m not a sainz, Leclerc, or Ferrari fan but sainz has proved to be the better driver. Ferrari is a team that has got a lot of great opportunities over the last few years, but it seems like Leclerc always fumbles. Sainz is just overlooked because Ferrari considers Leclerc as their #1. If they invested more time into him I feel like they would score a few more points.

Carlos hasn't outperformed Leclerc at all, it may look like it when you just see pure numbers, but the matter of fact is that Leclerc is insanely fast (faster than Sainz), better leader and more committed to Ferrari anyway. But, he is so much more unlucky than Sainz. Anytime Sainz has outperformed Charles, the #16 car has always had some issue where he can't perform to his level.
