This will be your (fictional) career, being an F1 driver! You can start with any team, and in any year from this millennium(2000-).
Your driver can be invented or yourself, though I VERY HIGHLY don't recommend posting your real info.
You must specify the nationality and driver number of the driver.
You must give a backstory about your racing career and (optional) about your life.
When you retire, you can choose whether to go to another motorsport or to definitely retire from racing.

Rules:
NO FATAL CRASHES OF ANYONE INCLUDING YOUR DRIVER
You cannot start before this millennium

2004 PRESEASON
Dominik Ostrowski, Formula 3000 champion, is invited in F1 by Sauber. After a test, the contract is signed. The Polish driver gets along immediately with his teammate and the team. They worked very hard to make the car top-notch and welcoming.
The preseason tests in Misano don't go very well, as the times registered are slower than about almost half the grid. Ostrowski conquers a solid 13th place in testing 1, and an 11th in testing 2. Small upgrades to the power unit are made after the testing.

2024 PRESEASON TESTING
Overhauled regulations bring a very mixed up grid among the 22 drivers. Red Bull's long dominance seems to be fading away as Max Verstappen defends his trophy. As for Porsche, they look to be a midfield team. However, reliability issues are present for the first parts of testing for the new team. Principal is "working hard" to upgrade the durability. As testing comes to the end, the performance power rankings are as follows:

  1. Ferrari
  2. McLaren
  3. Red Bull
  4. Williams
  5. Mercedes
  6. Porsche
  7. Aston
  8. Sauber
  9. Haas
  10. Alpine
  11. Toro Rosso

2024 BAHRAIN GP
The opening race of the season is a crazy one with plenty of plot twists! As for quali, the Porsche duo finish as follows: P9 Calinho, P11 Pourchiare
Lap 1: It's lights out and away we go! At the front Leclerc gets off well from P2 and overtakes Carlos Sainz for the lead!!
Lap 3: Calinho gets past Russell through a outside move at turn 8 for P8.
Lap 8: It's hard contact between Lando Norris's Mercedes and McLaren's Oscar Piastri as they were fighting for P3. Norris has major nose damage and has to retire, but Piastri looks fine to continue.
Lap 18: Calinho has a 3.44 second pitstop from softs to mediums. He is the second to pit.
Lap 23: Piastri passes Sainz for P2!
Lap 24: Max Verstappen spins and hits the inside wall, bringing out a red flag as his car blocked the track entirely. The red flag plays out horribly for Calinho who has to start from P15 following his early pitstop.
Lap 24: The race restarts and Calinho manages to gain 3 positions in the first lap!
Lap 36: Calinho is re-overtaken by Aston's Alonso.
Lap 44: Final pitstop for Calinho who is going on an alternate strategy, a slow one - 5.21 seconds.
Lap 57: Calinho charges through the pack and manages to be in P9 as he round sthe final couple corners. However, in the last corner, the car has an engine failure and Calinho drops to P11 as the car limps home.
Lap 57: At the start of sector 3, Carlos Sainz pulls off an agressive move on Piastri to get P2!

2024 JEDDAH GP
Calinho, following a heartbreak in Bahrain, qualifies 7th as Pourchiare starts 9th. A very good result for the two.
Lap 1: Lights out and AWAY we go, Piastri on pole holds the inside line as Norris tries to go around the outside, and through turn 2 Norris tries to go down the inside and they make contact! Piastri goes into the lead by a second as Norris battles Sainz for P2. We saw the two collide last weekend, and it's happened again!
[R] mercedes Norris: He didn't leave me any space!
Lap 1: Calinho gets a decent start but Theo has a RAPID start, and they are side by side heading into the hairpin. Pourchiare gets ahead for P7, as he sets his sights on Albon for P6.
Lap 10: Lando Norris catches up to Piastri and passes him for the lead!
Lap 15: Calinho is under pressure from Ricciardo, and they battle for position until Ricciardo squeezes calinho into the wall at thr last corner! Calinho says he doesn't have that much damage, and Ricciardo is handed a 5-second pen and has to give the place back.
Lap 24: The reliability issues show as Pourchiare reports a gearbox issue. Calinho's gap to Theo was previously 8.2 seconds, but after 3 laps of the problem, it is down to just 1.4.
Lap 27: Calinho passes Pourchiare, then has a 3.07 second pitstop from hard to mediums.
Lap 33: Pourchiare's gearbox issue gets serious and he is forced to retire. The VSC is deployed.
Lap 41: Sainz passes Piastri easily.
Lap 46: Calinho, in P7, battles with Stroll behind, after a lap of battling, Stroll makes his way through.
Lap 50: Norris takes the chequered flag for his first ever F1 victory!
