#Indy vs Monaco vs Le Mans

This is a tricky question, but considering the fact to win Monaco you'd have to be in F1 would be much more impressive than getting a Indy seat. Also, there are multiple Le Mans winners
le mans for me 💪
I'd rather win either Le Mans or Monaco. Indy is too easy compared to others and isn't as impressive
I was between le mans or Monaco, but le mans has multiple winners
Yeah that's why I choose Monaco
Indy isn’t impressive and is easier?
Yeah right. A single Indy 500 produces more action than a decade’s worth of Monaco Grand Prix’s alone
Besides, a lot of strategy, patience, and also skill goes into the race
thats literally wrong on every level
first of all, you can be carried by others in endurance and there are a lot bigger margin of error
in f1 u can be carried by the car and if u have a good quali, ur set for a good result
indy, any mistake and ur in the barrier at 220mph
spec series
like what..
Exactly
Saying Indy is easy is like saying Microsurgery is something a child can do
Here's the way i see it
Le mans - you can get carried by your teammates, multiple winners
Indy 500 - not as internationally renowned as the other two, the hardest out of the 3
Monaco gp - you have to be in f1 to win this, so winning it means you are indeed an f1 driver
The fact of even being an f1 driver is more important to me than winning the 500 or le mans
I think fernando has done that right?
He had an engine failure in 2017 Indy 500.
And yes, he did in 2019 during practice session.
honestly its only the 500 or le mans that are acceptable answers
monaco just requires u to not be ass at qualifying and a extremely fast car and boom ez win since its basically impossible for anybody to challenge u unless ur team has a terrible pitstop
le mans is a serious team effort (there is driver effort, but the teams overall make more of a difference) and the 500 is a serious driver effort (opposite, there is team effort involved but the driver makes alot of the difference nowadays), as you have to be perfect to have a chance to win
1 mistake in le mans can easily set you far, far back in the race, possibly not able to make it up
1 mistake in just 500 PRACITCE can lead up to you not even qualifying for the damn thing, and 1 mistake in the race would cost you the chance of winning at the minimum without question
Monaco requires immense concentration
especially with the big cars and worse visibility
every race requires that
not on the level of Monaco
which is easier to drive, relatively speaking
österreichring or monaco
lapses in concentration in any race can be race disrupting at best and catastrophic at worst
yes but the stakes are way higher at places like monaco
hence it requires more concentration
losing ur focus in the indy 500 can be between you doing well or smashing in the wall at 390 kph
yh I'm not arguing against indy, tbf Ive changed my mind, indy is the one I'd like to win the most
I will disagree at this statement, saying Indy is too easy to take a win is impossible compared to Monaco. Like what? It's like saying everyone can turn the car with throttle in an oval track, this cause a crash. Like come on, if you turn, just make a turn, steer the wheel, release the throttle and if the turn was done, continue to throttle. "Indy is too easy" statement is really stupid.
For me it's Indy, the amount of control you need to have over the car is just insane to only finish the race. Pato was going for a move on Ericsson and slightly clipped the grass and he was in the wall it just shows how perfect you have to be on the track
Monaco just seems if you qualified p1 and dont put the car in the wall you'll probably win.
Personally I don't understand this. Going around an oval again and again is hard but making 2 sharp turns at over 225kph with walls within a meter if you isn't as hard? And just saying qualifying P1 wins the race doesn't make it easy, you still have to put in a lap time. Also look at the race yesterday, with the rain so much chaos happened.
I think there is much more to Indy than just going around an oval again and again
And secondly, Monaco for the past few years has given us nothing, while Indy has given us something
Both are consistent in terms of racing quality but, the only difference is that Indy and Monaco are on opposite ends of the spectrum
Also, Defending P1 from the next car that’s right on your gearbox with only a short amount of laps remaining and threading a fine line in terms of strategy and conservation, plus being extra crucial when it comes to not making a single mistake.
Doesn’t sound ‘easier than Monaco’ to me
There's also something about fighting for the lead for 200 laps and winning by a tenth of a second. Compared to Max winning with ease by 27 seconds..
Mhm.
1992, 1982, 2014, 2019, and this year all featured some dramatic last lap battles and very close finishes
Last time there was a dramatic last lap battle and close finish at Monaco was back in 1992 between Senna and Mansell
every 500 since 2011 has had a nail biter finish outside of 2018 and maybe 2020
