Quick story:
Lewis Hamilton: a kid who was insanely lucky and signed for the best team on the grid, McLaren, and won a title that should've been Massa's but some annoying dude decided otherwise. Next, he took a gamble and signed for a new German team called Mercedes, this team would dominate the grid with little to no competition for the next 8 years. The only time Lewis ever had to fight was with Rosberg in 2015 and 2016. Also, Mercedes had the faster car in 2021, yet he still lost. Lewis just got lucky with the teams he signed, almost any other driver who signed with those teams would be just as it even more successful than him.
Now enter Jim Clark, a driver who won 2 championships competitively in a time the cars were almost all identical, but he wasn't in the best car. He was racing in a time when the FIA wasn't rigging races and being as annoying as they are today. He deserved 2 championships, Lewis deserves 1 at most.
