Russell qualified 2nd in what should have been the slowest car on the grid. It still was only the 9th fastest on the grid.

Ya but

#

Nico Rosberg is the guy who beat lewis Hamilton in equal machinery

#

He never outperformed his car though

And George qualified 11th in the third best car. He's no where as consistent as he should be

#

And he's 20 points behind Lewis

#

You're comparing a world championship who beat a 6 (I don't care if you say 7) time world champion in equal machinery to a annoying guy who is far behind said 6 time world champion even though he's years off his prime. Nico is easily better

not to mention Nico's pure determination and commitment to beat Lewis

#

and no the Williams was not the slowest car on the grid in 2021

#

it was 9th best at the very very least

#

I said 9th fastest

#

I say Russell is faster because he is taller

latifi literally qualified in 12th

just because they scored 0 points, it's not like they were dead last all the time, like Haas in 2021, they had 4 P11s and 2 P12s,

#

they could still upgrade the car, no one, regardless of how good they are, can qualify 2nd in a car as slow as you are making it out to be, so the car must have been better looking at the better results they got in 2021

They were still 9th fastest. Which isn’t much better. But a TOTAL miracle.

#

were they really 9th fastest at spa though?

#

latifi qualified 12th

#

and latifi is imo below the F1 benchmark

#

and also

#

all this discussion about one qualifying result in the wet

#

but the original question is who is better Russell or Rosberg and talking about one single lap doesn't really prove Russell is better

#

if the race had gone ahead Russell would no doubt have dropped back
