Horner has said that they’re equal. It’s just that Checo struggles to score podiums in the fastest car while Max wins with a +20 seconds gap to 2nd place

Checo is slower, but not by much, we saw that earlier in the season

It's just the car started to develop and become faster but at the cost of a stable rear, which max prefers, whereas Checo prefers a more stable and understeery car
