#Women in f1

Women are allowed and are not prohibited by any rules to drive in f1
The problem is lack of funding/backing
W series and F1 academy are useless because they are female only series, which for a start doesn't help for equality and it would be much better for teams in W series to invest in their drivers and get them into F3 and f2 and not invest in the series
Because ultimately, if w series doesn't get you into a series which gives you a good opportunity to make your way to F1, then its pretty useless
Women can drive in f1 they just aint fast enough yet
dont care if they a guy, a gal, non binary, a helicopter. If they quick and clean then fuck it
I really hope a team doesn't get a women driver in just for the PR side, ik it's hard to say this but I'd much prefer they get there on merit
^
A driver who is there for PR and sponsorships is no different to a pay driver
And if a woman gets into F1 on merit, the PR and sponsorships part will come on its own
why as soon as we bring this up it's everyone's first thought, you're so prejudiced
yeah women can drive in f1 there just aren’t many who are quick enough to be considered at all since most teams pick F2 drivers or already established drivers and there aren’t any women who drive in F2 or are established in other series enough over other drivers not to mention the struggle for funding but that’s also an issue that applies to everyone in motorsport in general
but the issue of funding applies to women more
also why should they be "established into another serie enough over other drivers" to get a seat in F2 or F3? not all of the current F2 and F3 drivers have established any kind of dominance anywhere else
that’s bollocks, f3 and f2 is almost exclusively down to how much funding you have
being established doesn’t matter
@still pilot @thorn kraken no I meant that there’s no top female drivers in like F2 or F3 or Indycar etc to get the attention of F1 teams
Yeah but that’s the thing when it comes to male drivers not only the top dogs get attention, look at Zhou
