that is cool
that cage is sick
epic shit
kinda sick ngl
i used to own the small old puma, brilliant car
absolutely amazing, handled great, fizzy little engine
the new one is just the same as any other copy-pasta crossover
First ever australian made electric bike 👀
It’s not my favourite
Yeah not the best looking BUT still pretty for Australia who aren’t known for making bikes and what not.
We’ll see when it comes out
known for making anything* 😂
Vegemite
I’m an Aussie
Same
Cool
Vegemite is actual garbage and only few people actually eat it lmao
Peanut butter and nutella are significantly more popular
Haha yessss 😂
Vegemite is goated
When americans and shit try to eat it they scoop the whole thing
Only meant to put a very sligt
but its still 💩
Yeah doesn’t matter how much you put on will always be 🤢🤢🤢
if i shat in my hand and lubricated it with piss it'd taste better than vegemite imo
Nah mate
isnt vegemite the dragon ball z character
what
BRSCC?
It’s run by them or whatever yeah
Yeah
Apologies for the bad embed. This is a Classic Driver collection of photos on Instagram.
The 458 test mule for the LaFerrari will be on sale in May.
The roof scoop is something.
A center driving position, too.

that pagani is hot
The successor to the huayra
It looks more like a callback to the Zonda.
- The double-vertical tailllights, the downward posture.
The Huayra had this flatter look, but the Zonda was always steeper from the front to back; having the posture that this mule has.
fucking love the zonda ngl
The original Zonda was wonderful.
did you cut and paste the c10 model onto a new background?
electric scooter recommendations?
Me in a moderately fast car in 2015
A blue one with go faster stripes
Crazy to think that just a couple of thin rods hold those front wheels on that far out
Where was that?
Petersen museum
Oh! I forgot you were still in L.A.
I've wanted to go there so badly. It's easily one of, if not the greatest automotive museums on the planet.
The building, itself, is wonderful.
Do it
If you ever have the chance pay for all of it
Do everything you can
This car is probably worth $100 million
(you weren't supposed to take photos of it really but the people there say that you can they will turn a blind eye)

don't care.
: )
those things are monsters
my old man has a versys and i thought that was big
then i saw the goldwing
Goldwings are cool
they are
i don't think they ever really knew what they were supposed to be
it's kinda cafe racer, but then also quite crusier
judging the riding position it's more sporty
😩
yeah harelys are really not my thing
i can appreciate they look nice but i doubt id drive one
I’d drive a Harley for Old School feels
and because the Road King gives Highway patrol vibes
1998 CHiPs
Carrera GT Zagato?
Yes
Looks pretty
I like the Gemballa Carrera GT
I like these
I want a first-generation Ninja at some point.
It would be my first (road) motorcycle.
I have an itching feeling it will be the death of me, though.
Why?
I don't know. I don't have the best luck.
Wear the proper equipment and you should be fine tbh
Also obviously don’t be reckless
I wouldn't daily it, granted, and it's small town America.
It isn't a very challenging environment.
Although, American drivers are American drivers.
yeah dailying a sporty bike mustn't be the most fun
The original Ninja isn't that wild, at least by today's standards.
Yeah.
I think the Haybusa is neat, but I would never own one.
- Yet still, it isn't nearly as fast as today's higher-end bikes.
Dailying any bike, especially with traffic isn’t fun
All the riders in la traffic seem to think the double yellow lines form a small lane for bikes
honestly as much as I want bikes
I dont think I can
theres that feeling where I may end up crashing, so I somehow choose 4 wheels over 2 wheels
H2R’s aaa
I didn't even think of lane splitting, just the continuous awkward penguin waddle and constant clutching
I saw one that looked similar to this today
yes
fastest production bike in history if im not wrong
Too fast
too fast to die
i cannot imagine riding that thing
lmfao thats not a good bike to daily
its fun on straights and bendy corners, not clutching through trafci
but at that point dailying any bike through traffic can be annoying
Nah get a BTMoto flash so it doesn't die
M1000RR hours for maximum price extortion
Also Kawasaki made a new 250cci4
I agree, just riding a bicycle from the city to somewhere with less traffic is already a pain, cant imagine it with a bicycle
I generally dont have plans on getting a bike, because for one I am not wired to ride one
I havent actually learned how to ride Motorcycles

I'd love to learn to ride now I've gotten into em
yeah same
I dont even where I’ll learn to use a motorcycle

Oops
I made a mistake
I really, really wanna buy an old GS this summer when I get my license
yeah the h2r is way off the bmw
Nothing can outmatch an H2R
With a flash most superbikes will be 230-240 range
But still... Ain't Supercharged, are they?
That’s my car right there 🙂
u drive a Caparo T1?
Just under 1 month until my Tacoma Trail Edition gets here!
Tacoma’s are hot
Lamborghini Huracan: this isn't even my final form
It looks sick
meh. It looks the same to the other huracans
I know it has different parts in it, but I want something that looks different
nice Corvette
💀
Oh boy, another car that looks exactly the same as the other ones released a decade ago
but they made the lights higher and more to the side!!!
new cars are just big grill with headlights moved to the left and higher
all look shit
Tru
and somehow that new Huracan had bigger wheels
or smaller body
looks ugly either way
looks like a toy car
The rims do no justice
I just want another rear-wheel-drive, manual Lamborghini.
Although, I'm at least happy they still make rear-wheel-drive models.
the only way that’ll happen is if they somehow nab porsche’s six speed
which won’t happen
besides, they’re moving to electrification, and no mainstream manufacturer makes a manual electric car
its plausible
oh hey rally
hey
didn’t realise you were in here
i barley talk thats why
same tbh
im here for the emotes thats why
so was i, then my nitro ran out
It's terrible

what a fucking circuit man
Some raw footage of Mark Higgins driving the Subaru WRX STI TT Attack car during his record breaking lap of the Isle of Man TT circuit. His record is now 128.730 mph average speed; 17 min 35.139 for the 37.73 mile course. A fully edited lap will be available in due course.
The car was specifically developed by Prodrive for this record attempt...
Many IOMTT fans would disagree about cars being on the TT, but what if more automakers decided to try and go after Mark Higgins’ record?
I'd like to see like a Valkyrie AMR Pro boss it
But it's contending with the bridge hump
I could see Porsche taking a stab at the TT, but it wouldn’t be likely.

i'll be power matched with a R32 now 😄
what's the HP on it?
i'll be at 240HP when the job is done today
too late anyway
does it still have fake vents
anyways too little too late
I'd probably buy it further down a couple decades though
get the concept car body kit and wheewwwww
the purpose of the supra’s fake vents was for kits right?
so when the owner applies a kit to it, the fake vents are ready to take in airflow and cooling stuff once the plastic ones are removed
no
it’s because they wanted it to look more sporty
everyone does it, it has nothing to do with kits
no it’s because they couldn’t be arsed to make a complete car but they wanted the car to look better so they came up with a bullshit reason
oh he left
If I had a dollar for every time someone complained about the new Supra’s…
Even tho the old Supra is ugly af

Bad news if you thought BMW might tone down the looks of its mega-grille cars for 2022: it's doubling down on the controversy, and the new 7 Series is possibly the most divisive yet. Leading the charge for BMW’s rival to the Mercedes S-class and Audi A8 is the all-electric i7, a 544 horsepower e-limo that also has the Tesla Model S and Lucid Air...
It’s ugly as fuck
Makes the m4 look good in comparison
The rims look like flattened starfishes
that's awful
The more I look at the car, the more it looks like a cheap imitation of a BMW
What can you do? BMW’s become a shell of who they were
That and Mercedes
At least I still have hope in Audi and Porsche
Calling the tycan a turbo model was the worst thing Porsche did
Still nothing as bad as bmw

Here's some frustrating nonsense:
https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-61155735

Transport Minister Trudy Harrison said updating to the Highway Code will be a "major milestone in our safe introduction of self-driving vehicles".
She also claimed their use "revolutionise the way we travel, making our future journeys greener, safer and more reliable".
- BBC
At the same time, these proposals state "[...] people using self-driving cars will be allowed to watch television on built-in screens [...]" (BBC), and that they "[...] will not be responsible for crashes" (BBC).
I hope there are enough sensible people left to shoot down that idea. That's one of the stupidest drafts of legislation I have seen in my entire life, and I've seen quite a few.
The GMA T.50 Fancar is probably the most pure performance car on sale right now. So of course it was the only choice when it came to choosing a car to lead around our awesome V10-era F1 demo at the 79th Goodwood Members' Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport.
Driving just in front of Bruno Senna in his uncle's McLaren MP4/5, the GMA T.50 Fan...
why is it nonsense?
It's a paradox.
To increase safety, they allow the drivers of autonomous cars to drive distracted.
they aren't 'drivers'
that's the entire point lol
it isn't a regulation aimed at current cars with adaptive cruise and lane keep, it's aimed at level 5 cars in the future
bro they got some 32 inch screen at the back lmao
literally fit a car with a tv and made it uglier
i honestly don't know how the bmw execs looked at that car and thought that the car is fit to be seen by people
Even then, it's not the wisest of decisions.
It's going to take a long time before a Level 5 car is even near decent.
and until then the legislation won't do anything
it's not stupid, it's setting the groundwork for when self driving cars actually are a thing
Even then, so long as a car has a steering wheel and pedals, it isn't right that we should encourage people to treat driving that way.
Driving is always going to be dangerous. An object of such weight at such speed will always have the potential to do great damage.
I understand that some people want to do other things, but if you want to do other things, have someone else drive you.
Or, in the case of a Level 5 future, have someone else attentive at the wheel.
that's literally not the point of level 5 autonomy
the point of level 5 is that there's no intervention or driver attention required
On paper, absolutely.
Though, we have people like Elon Musk making the claim that Teslas are Level 5 capable, and people listen to him for whatever reason.
If that's going to continue to be the case for the next thirty years, and odds are it will be, that definition will change.
he can say what he wants lol, it doesn't change the fact teslas are currently rated as level 2
and nothing is close to l5
What I mean is, I think at some point people are going to be lazy and shift down the levels. What is actually Level 3 will classify as Level 4, and so on.
We already do that. It takes no genius to see that F.S.D. Teslas are nowhere near ready, but California doesn't care.
I wouldn't be surprised if people start slapping "Level 5" on half-complete cars in the future.
Besides, when those Level 5 cars inevitably reach the market, they're going to have their flaws. It's not fair to write legislation in a way that anticipates they'll be perfect.
again manufacturers can slap whatever they want on the cars, they aren't the ones setting the SAE definitions or deciding whether the cars are self-driving from a regulatory perspective
they dont get to say "ok our car is fully self-driving" and the DFT or whoever accept it
I don't understand why this even needs to be proposed, right now.
It ought to be proposed when the technology is ready.
because there needs to be a clear and coherent legal framework beforehand
there's no point writing legislation to keep up with technology
This far ahead, though?
I mean, it could take decades before this is even functional.
yes
OEMs have said these sort of topics are issues going forwards
I can understand a new outlook on liability, but allowing the user to do whatever they want is far-fetched.
hands off automatic lane keeping has been possible for several years and was only legalised recently
..they specifically said that isn't the case in the article you linked
I understand that, but it isn't a healthy mentality.
Driving can never be fool-proof. Why should we allow people to be fools?
The liability makes sense, again. There's only so much we can do in that situation.
Although, doing something should be encouraged.
the point is that it isn't 'driving' at l5
to the point where having human intervention is effectively irrelevant
It's still driving. It's just that something else is doing it.
The controls are just in another's hands.
thats like saying riding the bus is driving
It isn't necessary that we take the wheel from the passenger seat, although you should always be ready.
At no point should everyone be powerless in controlling what happens.
- Neither should we encourage them to be powerless.
it is entirely possible (and likely probable) that the controls are removed from level 5 cars
I don't mind a Level 5 car, but a driver should have the ability to intervene, and be ready to intervene, even if the chance of failure is slim.
We're at the mercy of code, without it.
it's fundamentally wrong to say that if the failure rate from human intervention is higher than the failure rate from the automation
every element of automation and software has an acceptable failure rate
it's no different for self-driving cars
Failure rate is a percentage. There's a separation between success and failure.
There is an overlap between that of people and of self-driving cars.
It's unlikely, but it is mathematically possible to succeed where the car fails.
no it isn't..
failure rate is failures per unit time
wow you'd think I walked into a mobileye conference at work
i.e. something like DAL A is 10-9
so there has to be fewer than 10-9 catastrophic failures of a component per operating hour
MTBF or AFR?
DO-178B
We can't anticipate perfection, and there should always be a sort of failsafe.
i've based all of my software/hardware requirements off mtbf
we use AFR for client SSDs
wait no AFR
but MTBF gets published in the white paper
we test 1000 units for 1000 hours and extrapolate
problem is, no system is perfect
there cannot always be a failsafe
including the human system
exactly
if the rate of failure from human intervention is significantly more than what you get from an autonomous system, it doesn't make sense
I trust science. Every time I get on track, I trust my kart isn't going to fall apart and send me into a wall, but that's because I can do something about it.
yep
Without that degree of control, however, I can't trust it.
that's the illusion of control
same reason why more people are scared of flying than driving
There is control involved, at least. Some degree of control is more assuring than none.
having some sort of intervention system for level 5 autonomy may make drivers feel safer but it doesn't actually make it safer
not if you go off what the very widely accepted definition of l5 is
It doesn't, in the anticipation that it will be perfect.
it doesn't have to be perfect
It won't be, however. Especially in their first years, they'll be risky.
it just has to be better than the failure rate of intervention from human drivers
which isn't particularly hard, humans are terrible drivers
Most are.
having automation which fails and kills everyone in the car every 10-9 hours is still safer than automation with controls if human intervention causes a crash every 10-8 hours
It's safer on paper, but it isn't logical.
it's completely logical, it just doesn't feel that way
but then you're arguing psychology and not actual safety
people like to feel in control which is understandable, but often doesn't actually translate into safety improvements
but fundamentally the point is that you can and should be able to do other things in the car at level 5
because that's the entire point of certification at that level
it's no different to component design in any other safety-critical object
It is, absolutely.
Until Level 5 is in practice, and improved far beyond the initial phase, we shouldn't encourage people to be careless.
Just because it exists, doesn't mean it works. That's been the problem with autonomous cars since their inception.
but the topic isn't whether fully autonomous cars exist
it's the legislation for when they do
there's nothing wrong with self-driving cars from a leglisative/definition perspective
When the first car earns a Level 5 certification, we should be cautious of it. We shouldn't see the "Level 5" and immediately expect it to be flawless out of the box.
We should take the time to trust it, and at that point, we can consider the proposals.
That's the problem with the proposal I have. It's not the future outlook, because I agree we need that forethought.
- It's the fact that it's based purely on speculation, and text definitions.
there's nothing to suggest that should be the case, life-cycle and safety engineering is a very established field and operates on exactly the same principles
and the definitions will only become more mature and clear going forward
We should wait for them to become clearer. Obviously, there's time for us to update the policies long before they take effect.
Early is good, but we can be a bit too early in this regard.
I think it's more important that we ease into the E.V. transition, and better adapt to the semi-autonomous capabilities before we worry about Level 5.
level 5 is many, many years from now
i expect there will be an ease into it, for example, a level 5 lane on long stretches of highway
cars will need to be able to communicate with each other
then literally trains of autonomous cars can zip down that dedicated lane nose to tail
hiway 5 from sac to LA is a perfect example
We definitely need an infrastructure to support them before they can easily work.
I saw Honda was experimenting with transponders that could send traffic and accident data far quicker than current systems, and add to the knowledge of car sensors.
In essence, allowing them to "see" around corners.
there is a tremendous amount of information that can be gathered from the road
the ultimate will be inductive charging lanes
why rely on a visual sensor to determine lane placement if RFID or NFC can be embedded in the road
or reading signs to understand upcoming recommendations for speed etc
it's awful technology to rely on visual recognition for these basics
here in norcal they put yellow borders on traffic signal lights to make it easier for recognition but why do that when you can talk to the car thru the road?
Cause redoing all roadways to do that is wayyyyyy more expensive than retrofitting existing systems and embedding anything into a road will only work in certain areas.
Cause reading RFID or NFC through 2 feet of ice and snow isn't going to work all that well
But after working with "autonomous" drones I don't trust anything that claims to be Autonomous
wrap around rear lights = always cool
155 V6 Ti h o t
I have never seen an Alfa on road
Anyone heard of cupra? I live in Australia and cupra is launching in Australia this year (i believe in July??). Not sure if cupra has been around for awhile or their a new brand.
its a new brand
owned by football club barcelona in spain
i think
they started the brand within the last 2-3 years i think
the brand of cupra has been around for a few years it is part of the VW group - seat in particular and they have recently established cupra and seat as two different manufacturers
Rip
That’s just Godzilla coming out of the sea
nah they just made a trip to bikini bottom
Nice
So basically there's a car show in there
And i can't imagine this
Imagine that lambo
Going to the New York Auto Show today, be interesting what will be there
For the ferry across the Hudson River we just parked in the parking garage that woulda been an F1 paddock had the port imperial race went ahead a decade ago
Quick photos I took
been around for ages. used to be seat’s performance arm, and it still technically is, they just now get their own badges and vin numbers
they only make one car which isn’t a fast version of a seat, which is the formentor
fun fact about that formentor: they made a limited run of them with the turbo 5 cylinder from the rs3
Cool
I'll have to go next year. Finals are in the way of anything.
I had no idea Radwood went. I'm bummed to have missed it.
Chances are I would have run into people from Greenwich.
Dang are they still at motor show
It ends tomorrow, I believe.
Hmm so did they take videos
Is what I'm asking
Bc I have yt channel
And I could progit
Not rlly
But you know what I mean
car
nice we go to the SF show annually
i spy an RS200
While it wasn't a full slate of manufacturers due to the end of covid it was still a lot more interesting as I'm at the age where I might get a car by myself in a few years
nice
Like after looking and getting inside the new gen BRZ and GR86 I might consider getting one a year or two after college if I have a money as they'll be enough pre-owned versions by that time
that's the spirit
Hey y’all, anyone know if varta makes good batteries?
Okay, so I'm in Cardiff, I need a car
for about £3500
£4000 for the right car
I can't travel very far, say much beyond Birmingham, I'd ideally like a saloon, but I gotta compromise somewhere
Nothing low mileage, ideally not a diesel
I'll consider autos but manual is a safer bet
What do I buy
Oh and no red cars, and it needs a factory aux port or an easy conversion (so tape deck, or something simple like a radio swap)
It’s not safe to go further north
very valid actually
I'm not going to pay £200 in train tickets to see a car
And waste a day of my life on a train for that matter
like it's flexible, i just wanted to give a rough guide
like, not Newcastle yk
and why excluding low mileage?
I'd rather have a car that's been driven on motorways for a commute or whatever, than someone's granddad's car that's got way too old to have 25,000 miles on it
If you need your car, you're far more likely to have taken care of it, and also other people really don't like high mileage cars so
that's not really the correct way to approach mileage
¯_(ツ)_/¯
there will be low-mileage cars you need to be wary of in the same way that there are high-mileage ones
sure
there's nothing inherently wrong with a 25,000 mile or 125,000 mile car, the more important thing is the logbook and FSH
i wouldn't rule out stuff which is lower
Find your next car with Auto Trader UK, the official #1 site to buy and sell new and used cars. Over 400,000 cars online. Simple, easy, quick!
bluetooth, heated seats, manual
and FSH
it's very, very common especially on private sellers
It's the first time I've seen it
And I'm not going to Reading if I can't even look up the MOT history
it's common on older/common cars because of the risk of just having people clone the plate
¯_(ツ)_/¯
well it says FSH, you can ring up and ask about it
they'd probably be happy sharing the details
It's a no bud
why aux and not a bluetooth receiver?
because often "bluetooth" just means "hands free calling" in cars of that age
but the S40 doesn't have one of those either
at least not the like, ~2007 generation
which is the one typically in my price range
post-2007 they should all have aux
so that's not something i'd completely write off depending on how far you'd want to travel
what about coupes?
Honestly depends on the car, I’m not against small estates either, like the golf estate kind of size
because none of your requirements on their own are issues, but when you combine them all you're really limited on what you can get
relax even one or two of them and you suddenly get a lot more
That's something I was mentioning, some time ago.
I think it wouldn't hurt to look at some older cars, especially enthusiast ones.

air con, mp3, sat-nav
In 2022, you'll often find them with aftermarket stereos with bluetooth support.
just been MOT'd and has 6 months road tax included in the price
it's north of birmingham but you're going to need to be willing to travel a bit further
Would stay clear of any mg cars kek
I’m definitely flexible on a few things
i've got a bit of a soft spot for them
cheap as shit to start
This is kinda why I want someone else to hand me options I’m sorta
travel distance is the big one
Choice paralysed
make yourself willing to travel and you're golden
train?
I’m not going anywhere like 3 hours away by train to maybe buy a car
return to bham is less than £30
ideally you wont be making the trip until you're pretty much sure you're going to buy it
Yes brum was literally inside my limit lmao
if you're happy to go to the birmingham area that's a good compromise
Find your next car with Auto Trader UK, the official #1 site to buy and sell new and used cars. Over 400,000 cars online. Simple, easy, quick!
this one has an aux
what about mondeos?
Thanks
I like a Mondeo
The uh James Bond Mondeo era isn’t particularly my favourite but I need a car lol
Find your next car with Auto Trader UK, the official #1 site to buy and sell new and used cars. Over 400,000 cars online. Simple, easy, quick!
If that’s what I get that’s what I get
bluetooth, leather, parking sensors
although it's a diesel
any particular reason why you dont want a diesel?
I just don’t like them
I prefer driving a petrol
Like it’s definitely not a hard red line but everything else has to really make sense
the other option is going in the opposite direction and getting something a bit different and unique
something like an mx5, hyundai coupe
although not fitting the body style requirement
190 eur?
£1.90 / L
I wonder how much Panigales go for
V4 goes for 30k usd and V2 goes for 22k
so a V4 goes almost the same as a Raptor
I dont even know how to ride a Motorcycle
If I were to choose two bikes from Yamaha, I’d choose the R1 and MT09
MT07 is more fun imo
Both they are both very good choice
I really like the gt900
It’s a comfy travel use bike
As well as it’s balanced
I spoke to the guy
He was like I plan to use it on track days
Makes sense why he would spend this much
around the nordschliefe
BRO
bro
this was also part of the reason, however petrol isn't exactly... cheap
I don’t think Kimi ever did the BTCC before F1
Kimi only did Rally after his F1 career back then, no other motorsports as far as I’m aware
and was in the Army before motorsport because it was mandatory iirc
did nascar
The GT2 RS is going to be a monster, if that's the Clubsport.
ikr
Looks like a beast
Isn’t there already a gt2 clubsport
deformed ansel elgort
looks like something exploded at the background
That something was DTM’s reputation
After what happened in Norisring Last year
Citroën Ami
Apologies for bad image quality
Dtm was so shit last year
Götz is a fraud
looks like it's backwards
Ikr
Bring it to Le Mans, Aston. You know you want to.

😩👌
🥶
Bright blue birb
That's in beautiful condition.
i like it for some weird reason
That rear wing
2000gt
That’s most definitely not a celica or 2000gt
Idk what it is
But it’s definitely not those
thats not a 2000gt lmfao
I just remember the headlights looking like a 2000gt
But those aren't the actual glass shape
the body shape isnt even near it
tip: the 2000GT looks good from any angle
this does not
that looks like a Nissan qashqai hasn't fully rendered
sick
GT3 is faster depending on the track GT2 wins if there is a lot of high speed stuff
GT3 is naturally aspirated
thnx sherlock
no
isnt the gt2 rs outright faster everywhere?
yeah
no guarantee they'll do one so dont get too excited
although i get the feeling they're bringing out as many special 992s as possible
the thing that I dont get is how the GT2 RS is only 40kg heavier than the GT3 RS (991.2 gen)
depends on the track if you have a slower track with a lot of turns the GT3 will be faster if not equal to the GT2
yeah they just recently brought out one with the ducktail back
That car would look great as a hearse/coroner’s van
Imagine dying, just to be put in the back of a Cherolet HHR.
Bro....
sport classic, yeah
makes me think they’ll crank out a ton of special 992s
looots of lightweighting
They might. We have this safari one coming out, evidently.
I guess it's worth it, though.
The future of the F-6 is uncertain. We might as well send it off with a celebration.
Yeah i would rather go in a Horse Carriage thank you
But Porsche always names their cars in the reverse way
The GT3 is Slower than GT2 and The GT1 is a race car
The GT1
I'm quite aware I've actually spoken to an engineer that worked on the GT1. I don't want to repeat myself but the GT3 can be faster than the GT2 depending on the track
I see
sheeeesh
OH MY GOD
GT classes are ranked in speed
GT1 class is faster than GT2, GT2 is faster than GT3, GT3 is faster than GT4
GT1s are nearly prototypes
GT4 Cayman?
GT2 is GTE/GTLM
I was talking about the classes
what about the GT4 cayman lol
Like it's slower than the Gt3
it's slower than a GT3 car yea
GT4 is likely more fun than the GT3
I dont understand how the GT4 is basically the same weight as a GT3 which should be a physically larger car
if were talking Porsches that is
It’s not April 1st, we didn’t wake up in a parallel universe, and this isn’t an episode of the ‘Twilight Zone’ or ‘The X-Files.’ Moreover, there isn’t any catch here either, as Lamborghini is actually testing out a Ferrari SF90 Stradale next to their headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy. But why?

This article's description is so like... Obvious
Like they're going Hybrid, wdym but why?
b u t w h y
What could they possibly gain by looking at a competitor’s car ?!?!??!?!
epic batteries
sees Ferrari
looks at batteries
yoink
... Because they want to gather a feel for how a hybrid with an electric front axle works?
Because that's what they're doing?
yes
Well I'm just confused coz I thought it'd be obvious
no you're right
Definitely.
I'm sure they'll use it as a basis for whatever system they want to make.
Of course, they want to be sure that whatever they make will challenge that of Ferrari's.
Companies have done this for quite a while. It's a sign of respect and determined competition.
Ferrari had their own Ford GT in the early 2000s. Mercedes had bought a McLaren F1 to develop the CLK GTR. The list goes on.
... Lamborghini dropped out
of VW?
No as in Lamborghini dropped out of the pussyfooted 2021 engine change which aston Martin and Porsche both were seriously into
They said they didn't have the assets to be able to come at it seriously
And also Lamborghini switched hands from audi to Porsche sub ownership
Yeet
They do
GM had the v8 from a 458 for developing the Corvette
they bought several cars including the 458
Surely the NSX was one.
When the C8 was announced, I was certain it would be like it.
the new NSX?
Yeah, the 2017-onward model.
Maybe not. I know G.M.'s marketing goal was to create something akin to the 458, but that was affordable and true to the Corvette.
Which, of course, is why it's unsurprising they bought one for research.
As for the rest, I'm not too sure.
I guess it wouldn't be too outlandish to assume it was a Lamborghini of sorts.
its really obvious how they tried to make a european supercar
even the styling is just poorly executed european styling
Yeah.
such an incoherent mess with no real design language
complete identity crisis
like wth is all of this?
I hated the rear end. I've gotten used to it, but it still isn't pretty.
its as if they let different ppl design the different parts and then glued them all together
I cant find a single angle that works
The front half is the best, for the car. The rear is where it falls apart.
this thing had a better thought out design language
The current Corvette design language wasn't really going to work with European, mid-engined proportions.
I'm hurt. I like the Gumpert a lot.
cool car, ugly as hell tho
Goofy name, goofy look.
the C8 corvette just looks like shit
the C7 looked so good
then we get this hot wheels looking ass
The cuts on the front just Disturb me
its a mess
agreed
I am not a fan of american cars but the C7 has a clear design language that is consistent throughout the car and everything fits
with this new abominations nothing fits
i dont like the grill there and it's a bit too high for me
more like this
the best corvette is obviously
the C7 gets second place
my boss has a C2 with a 427 in that marina blue color
My favourite corvettes is in this order (from favourite to least favourite)
C6
C7
C5
C4
C2
C3
C1
C8
For me it's
C6
C3
C7
C5
C8
C2
C1
C4
Now we're on the subject
The 600 cubic inch/9.83 Litre, 90°V12 Corvette C4 ZR-12
We take a look at the one of a kind experimental Corvette with a V12 engine called the Corvette ZR-12 at the National Corvette Museum. Just listen to that monster!
Derek Moore (Curator of the museum) goes into much more detail about this car here:

Ins...
An insane, overreaction to the viper
Hey it's the car from Carjackers a show on a channel called History tv18 damn they still have it 😂
I was very lucky to be invited to the global premiere of the Lotus Emira GT4 race car- heavily based on the road car but with some crucial track elements. The 400 horsepower 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine sounds incredible on track, and you can hear the Lotus team talk through the car in depth, along with a brief look into the Lotus private co...
woah that sounds great
can't wait to drive it in iracing, hopefully coming soon
I have to be honest, I'm not too sure that I like the gradient grilles.
can you imagine having to clean it? lol
Handwashing is probably pushing it, already.
debatable, the F8 wasn't really pretty
not a huge fan of the sf90 stradale's rear either
But i love the 296
it looks like a shitty mix of a McLaren and a Bugatti from the top ngl
meh, its not too bad
Just like pidgy said i think the grills are a bit, much
it really does not look good to me
I dont find that it borrows at all. its very unique in its exterior design
too small at the front imo
I agree
too overdone too
overdone? I have to disagree
perhaps the rear diffuser
but the design is clean and purposeful
very well executed
the roof is the lest appealing to me
T h i s is overdone
couldve posted the C8
