New is a relative term when it’s used by beginners
doing my cbt most of the beginning was me rolling it back and fourth to get it into neutral
Oh fucking rip
Ours weren’t that bad, we had poor idling and atrocious clutch pull but we never had to do that
It was a bunch of 80-90’s era rebel 250’s and the odd boulevard 800
yeah the bike i was on wasn't too bad, it was just short and the clutch was a bit stiff but that may had also just been my hands not used to it
3 more days till bike ride after like 2wks of rescheduling
Oh nice
I just went around to the nearest grocery store by myself and ngl, kinda nerve wracking
Trying to remember all the stuff the instructors did for us on rides like picking which third of the lane to ride in
yeah i imagine without the info beiing feeded to me it'll be weird
but hopefully ill get used to it
Weeee
yipee
Rip, our bikes were from the 2020s
Saying that as if it isn't the current decade
Mostly Kymco spades
2 rebel 300s and 1 g310r
We had some new CBR500’s (the naked one) but they were reserved for the better students lmao
Note to self, mesh jackets are in fact mesh
Cold air fucking you up?
Damn
Only under my arms lmao
yeah i rented a merlin jacket and the front was mesh and fuck me it was so damn cold
winter too
Icon made the outer facing parts wind resistant but all the inner parts out of mesh. Which is dope in San Fran, not dope when it’s 10 degrees out
I have an addidas jumper on underneath kek
Because I thought all black+sun would be warm
i've tried to put a hoodie under my jacket and it's a bit too snug so hopefully a thermal will do the job just fine
Thermals are pretty nice as long as they are under something
I used to use them when I worked outside at -40
They can make a world of difference but they aren’t really wind/cold resistant
got you
i plan to use thermal then a shirt and a jacket
Good lad
my two contenders for full / modular helmets
my helmet expires next year, so i should make a decision soon
between the caberg and the new schuberth and AGV, only thing is they're so damn expensive
Without seeing the specs, my monkey brain says pick the carbon one lol
yeah my only thing is that the caberg is flip up and ece 22.06, and i've not used a full face since i was 14 and even then it wasn't for long
Oh, I see. I think ive only warm a modular once in my life and that was a snowmobile lid
yeah modular came from my dad, he uses one and told me some horror story about claustrophobia from a crash that his mate had, and i've mainly used focused on modular since then
Schuberth, because your helmet should cost the same as a used goldwing
modular also makes life a bit easier with just being able to use flip up
exactly lmfao
it's not far off
criminal prices
I don’t think I’ve ever been claustrophobic in mine tbh but I can understand the feeling
But I’m not sure the difference between a full face and a modular once the lids are closed
usually just a bit heavier and louder
but i rarely notice each difference with earplugs
Tbh, that seems to be the going rate for carbon Modular’s
it's criminal prices for a 4 star on sharp lol
it's probably really nice but fuck me 500 quid is funny money
Also figured out why fortnine has such good video editing, it’s cause their prices are steep and they don’t do sales
That’s a decent set of gear or one piece of klime
this is ridiculous
exactly lol
I wonder how many of those negative reviews are from people that didn’t realize they bought a modular
I think all my gear came in below 550 quid tbh
I get lucky with helmets lol. There's a sports memorabilia store near me that sells race-used helmets from F1, Indy, NASCAR and MotoGP
I saw a race-used 2007 Jenson helmet for just over $2,500
I’d never wear a race used helmet as my actual helmet
same
550 quid to have 3 stars of safety actually makes me laugh
That’s actually pretty bad lol
and my 140 quid helmet has 5 stars
L2S makes a really cheap FIM (which RN is the highest safety rating) helmet if you really care about safety ratings
This guy
But it’s not modular
Having a removable chin bar is a lot harder to pass safety ratings then one that’s integral
Also more parts
Also sport touring rides have a uhhh, stereotype for being quite well off
dentist money kek
funny because the most expensive one has shitter ratings
but i do agree
please ignore that the ninja 400 is technically a sport touring
agv make expensive ass modulars but they're decent iirc
Most AGV lids are pricy
Thé K5 is literally double the price of the k3
And you still don’t get closable chin vents
But they are good lids
yeah agv are on the pricier side
tbh ill probs end up getting the caberg i just hope they've managed better with sizing
because im basically eating the chin bar atm
Yeah, that’s not stellar
in hindsight it is a bit small, but i don't want to get a decent fitting one and have the same issue
If it’s decently fitting, you shouldn’t have that issue tbh
Unless I’m misunderstanding how Modular’s work
My old motocross helmet used to do that to me and shit was kinda dangerous when you’d hit a bump and smack your chin into the chin bar
i remember them saying cabergs weren't stocked because their sizing was a bit niff, but we'll have to see
Helmet sizing is basically a roll of the dice
i just want a 22.06 helmet and they're either dentist money or a possible shitfitting
yeah near enough
Forgot to show yall while I still had it
From a Honda Guy, thats hot
Sexy
gr corollas are so fucking cool
wish we got them here, but we did get the yaris (which i’d rather have anyway) so cant complain too much
the corolla and yaris are such cool cars
Are Harley's bad
in what context
i've not heard much but one dude i heard said it was a bit shit
broke on him on the highway
Mom wants a Harley if she ever gets a license but I am begging her to choose anything but
Harleys (and cruisers in general) are a unique style of riding
You sit very differently compared to anything else, the rear brake is above/inline with your toe, the gearing is crazy different…
yeah it's a really weird positioning compared to nakeds
But they can be stupidly comfy, especially if you are tall
Like I think most people I know above like 6 foot ride one
Tell her to get a Goldwing
Or an Indian
Unironically, if your mum enjoys the style of a Harley, get a Rebel 500 or 1100 It’s straight-up the easiest bike l’ever ridden
Still better than a harley
true
I wouldn’t ever recommend the 300 cause it still uses the frame of the 500
jesus fuck
So you have all the weight of a 500 but with the shitty power of a 300
Says she doesn't like how rebels look
They look the same as Harley's though
Imo
Don’t forget that it’s usually 2 people riding for days on end and it easily tops 1k
They do look kinda goofy tho
Kinda yeah
Here’s the one I rode next to 2 CBR’s
Only annoying part is that the damn clutch cover sticks out a good 4-5 inches and causes your knee to be weirdly extended
Oh, that’s barely a Harley
Wtf is that mirror placement
Bar end mirrors
bar end mirrors are cool
They are actually pretty decent visibility wise
Better than those goofy ass stealth wing mirrors
They're so expensive too wtf
Aftermarket parts in a nutshell
A cowl for my rear seat is almost 200 bucks
I think the corolla is slightly more practical and I like how it looks more proportioned but it’s basically just the Yaris as a comfortable 4 seater
As in a full grown adult with legs can actually fit in the rear

Quite a gutsy move from Lamborghini to debut their first car, the 350 GT, at the 64 Geneva Auto Show with pretty much an imcompleted show car. It had no V12 engine in it
Not that people actually looked under the hood during the show to begin with
who needs rear legroom anyway
I love em
i wouldn't put them on the bike if i had bar ends
aint practical but looks all great imo
they’re the next big thing to wanting to be aero but also wanting the bike to be legal to the bone
idk they look better than stock i guess but i wouldn't have them personally
but bar ends and winglets may be the way to go if you’re going for aero and still being able to see behind
i mean
i doubt it's going to do alot unless you're in actual racing and not just going fast on highways
i mean you see trackday riders and they just tape their mirrors
true, only actual reason I’d get them is they look fucking cool
how are you even able to see anything through them 😭
A lot of track day riders just remove them completely
Since they just unscrew most of the time
ok yeah maybe for sportbikes
I meant naked bikes
maybe for naked bikes they look sucky
they fold
Ayo 5he Rizomas?
most probably
I saw so many Harley riders in Utah
And most of em weren't wearing a helmet
Or any protection
Ngl, I got stuck in 2 hours of traffic yesterday at like 25c and I started to understand why some people ditch most of their gear
You get roasted alive in traffic
No helmet is still mind boggling tho
If it’s a claustrophobia or heat thing, just get a 1/4 helmet
i'll never undestand it
the only time i kinda get a bit claustrophobic is when im just sitting about
bar end supremacy
based cronch
after 4 reschedules i can happily say im off for my first ride without an instructor tomorrow
my gear waits patiently until the morning
Epic
average american citizen
smallest truck in America
Oh damn, how’s the back feeling
yeah not bad saw some great sights
went to a nice beachside city near me which is really pretty then went up a bit more of a hilly area, which also looked brilliant
Sounds hella fun. I wanted to do something similar today but I kept getting lost and spent 3 hours getting battered on the highway lmao
150 miles is a pretty ballsy first trip, congrats
I want one aaa
https://youtu.be/CNboco3XZqg
Riding around my very sandy county, hitting some paved curves, and trying to pop a wheelie XD
Just chicken wing the heck out of that throttle and let the little engine rev!
Always a fun day when you are out on two!
Trying something new, as not everyone likes music. Hope you still enjoy, raw audio and longer clips.
Also trying the new MotoRad...
I’m growing to be more fond of adventure bikes
When life gives you a shitbox Civic. Go out and do roller shots with it
thanks, it was very worth it
10am-5pm we were on / off the road for
yeah thankfully the route we did had zero motorways or carriageways, so I could do whatever speed and I'd be fine
either my dad's wrong or googlemaps is
Is that one way?
Cause that would make sens e
79.2x2 is around 150-160
Probably, especially if you have to stop for gas a bunch
I’m guessing 125cc bikes don’t have especially large tanks
only stopped once lol
did the whole thing on a full tank and didn't see it go off of full
Ice crème, a bike and a nice sunny day. 10/10 Sunday
W
I found your no bumper brother
TWIN
Can’t wait for some of these days
I think my dad is probably getting another dual sport because of me
I got a wr250 back in January
And he wants to go on some trips this summer
Nothing big
But proper mountains are literally like 20 miles west of here
And plenty of trails
He sold a bunch of his bikes
He owned 9 at one point but that was like
7 years ago
Now he just has his Husqvarna 401 and his 75’ RD350
goals
I also want to go on trips with me dad
waiting till I’m successful so I can buy him his dream bike, an Indian Motorcycle and of course to buy myself one of those XSR900’s so we can ride together
Ayo same but my dad’s idea of a fun motorcycle trip are these multi day 200-300km per day adventures. Which is hella fun for him on his S1000XR, less fun for me on a ninja 400.
But maybe I can convince him to start a bit smaller
i'm glad all of us share the same goal
https://vxtwitter.com/ValeYellow46/status/1648345891336511488 @wide obsidian that's now on my bucket list
Un pomeriggio al museo
go see his museum
we'll all have to have an of1d bike meetup one day
It's hard when we're all in different countries
i'll get a 1000 versys and you can all sit on the back
I might be moving to the EU in a few years if my mums residency goes through
what country you thinking?
Idk, wherever I can find a job
fair enough
She’s getting hers through Italy so chances are probably there
come ingerland and see our dumb bike laws
I mean I can stay where I am and deal with them here
Why is there a restricted bikes list anyways
And why is the MT-01 not on it but a bunch of 650 sport bikes are
I’m curious if my license would carry over
because of power to weight
iirc
maybe? i doubt as such considering how strict it is here
I might be moving to Germany for college so
Maybe we can do an EU meetup or something
honestly if i get a big bike and we're all down, i'd be up to meet somewhere in the eu
In recent years the term ‘A2’ has entered the lexicon of British motorcycling. It’s not the road out to Dover, nor a rather large piece of paper – instead it’s a category of bike that’s limited to 47bhp
this is what confuses me, it's not like it's when you're 17 and it's just cc, it's measured through bhp
DISCLAIMER: The students in this report were not involved in the controversy and had no knowledge of the situation.

This is so fucking funny
thats cute
fuck yeah
I might move to the US if all goes well
y’all gotta visit me and VTOL when I’m in the US
y’all can borrow a few of my bikes
If all goes well, yeah
Well the thing I told my mom about to check first actually came to bite us in the ass
I told her
"Why does the requirements say to also do drivers Ed and behind the wheel?"
She said "no that doesn't matter"
And now we actually needed to provide a certificate for completing those
So no permit for me
I got to drive one not too long ago, fun car
How does it drive like
So steady, power is so predictable
Despite being a turbo
Super torquey
Cant wait to get my hands on one. I have to even see on on the road here
one thing I've learnt about 125s is how little power they have, which results in having to floor it near enough everywhere and your wrist getting fucked over
in conclusion, start on a litre bike if you dont want your wrist to get fucked
(dont)
this is the way

Our instructors always warned us not to start too small for that exact reason
I guess 125s are great for city riding
where speed limits dont go higher than 30
or if you’re doing trails
but if you’re going for long rides tryna maintain 70 with your hands fully bent, yeah fuck that
like to a 600 or smth
The ninja 400 is dope but for longer rides, it’s definitely showing it’s size
yeah I dont like that about the Z400
still has that 125 looks if it didnt have a thicker wheel and a bigger tank
I might still consider a Z650 if all goes well
but for now, I’ll aim for the Ninja 400
Kawasaki bois

Bye bye blue check mark, hello blue Panigale #DucatiUnica
who ping
Sorry, that was me. I accidentally sent something else instead of this GSX-RR diagram
np
Anyways, thoughts on the blue Panigale?
i mean
i can only see suzuki init
it kinda works though
i'd need to get used to it, it's like seeing green ferrari's
Bro, same.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of Suzuki when I saw the front
the green highlights make it even more suzuki
same
yup
never forget
I just realized I’ve already ridden almost 800km on my bike in the 2 weeks I’ve had in lmao
My thoughts on my ninja 400 so far is that it’s hella fun in the turns and below around 100km/h but the fact that it’s a tiny 400cc bike is really apparent on longer highway rides
yeah thats why when I do my a2 I want something that can do decent speeds and hold them
It will hold 120km/h no problem and will go 130-140 if you give it the beans but it just isn’t all that fun. You’re just in 6th gear cruising at 6kRPM
The problem I have isn’t really with the speed, it’s that it weighs like 400lbs wet and you end up getting bullied by the winds
It’s also a tiny sport bike so the seat is uhhhh, not fabulous after 3 hours
yeah I can imagine it's about the same on a cbf
the cbf my ass just hurts, shoulders too
Yeah, that’s basically what hurts for me too lmao
yeah i seriously cannot wait for a varadero. I don't want it to be perfect, I just want it to be better than what I have to deal with when I take a rental lol
Yeah, rentals suck ass
It’s hard to commit to maneuvers when you aren’t 100% confident/confortable on the bike
You find one yet?
I've searched a bit with my old man, but at the moment it's a case of getting my mum onboard
Yeah that's why I want a varadero even more, just in pics you can definitely tell there's a large size gap
It’s alot more of a relaxed riding style
But that’s the first 125 I’ve seen that doesn’t look like a 125
Yeah the varadero was always considered to be 300 sized, which is what I like
That's what I like too, it's alot more tense and less wiggle room on a cbf
Does eu have diff license tiers?
Each country in the EU has their own driving standards,
yeah so a1 is your full 125 license, a2 at 19 gets you something like 46hp, then at 21 or 24 you can do your full A and ride whatever you want
EU license seems sucky
but damn, riding bikes by Tuscany Italian roads seems heavenly
it's shit, because a 125 can't do the speed limits uphill lol
really you should start on atleast a 300
speaking of 300's
I'm starting to consider an R3
been seeing one on my way home from school
looks purdy aggressive for a 300
but I'd still consider a 400 more, expressway reasons
The R3 is one of the least comfortable bikes I’ve ever sat on. It’s seat is basically just a plank of wood
Which sucks cause it looks really good
getting more fond of adv bikes
i was just about to say, you'll prob want a 400 if you're wanting to do expressways
i'm in love with adv bikes
sports bikes are cool, but the fact i can't do decent mileage comfortably puts me off
400 is the requirement for PH expressways
Damn
Here you just have one license
So you could technically start on something like a Hayabusa or an H2 if you were rich and stupid enough
that's what it's like for cars here
out of everything i just wish 125's would be upped to something like 300 or 250
125s sound like hell to ride
they're okay if you can stick to a roads
it's mostly being aware of the gear you're in and lots of wrist pain
Here the bare minimum is 125, so something like the Z125 is highway legal
But the Grom isn’t highway legal cause it’s 124.9
GM Opala 1972.
190SL broken and another 190SL was behind the Dacia duster
if someone dares to take a 125 on a highway lol
The fortnine review for the Z125 claims to have taken it on the highway but I’ve ridden the stretch they showed In the video and I’m pretty sure the speed limit is only 70km/h
Problem is, the only person who would must have massive balls, but the weight of massive balls make it no longer highway capable
I love dual sports and adventure bikes
You can do just about anything, nothing super well, but nothing is really stopping you
It’s kind of the best of both worlds
There’s a used F650 GS at a dealership near me that’s priced just low enough to make me start considering making an awful financial decision
God I want an ADV bike, they look like so much fun
They look so comfy for long rides , while also somewhat fun to ride aggressively
I think when I finish uni this year, imma go out and trade my ninja for a 650 adv like the VStrom or Tenere 700
For a second I thought you were talking about the truck 💀💀💀
yall theres a few supras on my campus
sadly i forget to get photos of them
however i did see a mclaren a while back
also there was one time i saw a haas truck
and i forgot to take a pic of that one too
a 125 as soon as you take it to 70mph:
i cannot imagine taking it on a highway, it can't even do highway speeds lol
i've done 75 on a 125 and i was actually nervous lol
the front is so light it could just take off like a plane
Got my ride detailed, waxed and washed
Looks brand new
From the front at least
my favourite, the ferrari s2000 type r
Props to the guy for going full send
The vw r logo lmao
Like bro just accept the fact that you're driving a honda
No shame in that
Honda > VW
Omg I love the Ferrari S2000R, such an underrated car
That looks fun
Funny it says
Manufactured by Honda Motor Co.Ltd.
Like Honda knew people were gonna do this
Dont most car manufacturers put stuff like that on their performance models
Probably
But yk it's kinda ironic in that s2k
Are you from Ph?
Wait what
Ohhhh i thought something other

Arguably one of the first sedans with "Launch Control" thanks to a unique feature with its turbos holding at 2000rpms for 30 seconds (Only after you turned on the headlights before starting the engine)
fun fact about this car: they lied about how fast it could go
top speed was claimed at 174 after some debate about making it illegal
could actually more like 190

A Cobalt is an underrated car. But comparing that to this Praga that's meant for the track is absolute nonsense. It's like comparing a fighter jet with a seaplane
I'm assuming this is a Buick rebadged back into an Opel
Didn't ask: The examplary chronicles
Speedway
what'd you get?
Icon PDX3
I wanted a waterproof jacket with a lining cause a lot of my riding is early mornings when it’s sub 10 degrees and that shit sucks with my current mesh jacket
no that’s an opel
opel insignia
anyway does anyone fancy lending me £1,200 for a new lid
to then drop it
Buicks are rebaged Opels
They either bought an Opel or rebaged their Buick back into one
forgot buick was still a thing in the states
but yeah they’re the same car
opel, holden, buick and vauxhall all make it
used to make it j meant to say
rip holden
aus muscle was usually cooler than american muscle too
All coz they sold off Opel/Vauxhall to PSA Stellantis
And yet muh China
downfall of so many good brands
It is but it's ass
hot af, but be careful at night
lol yeah, but good thing i dont drive at night that much. but parking garages is a bit of a struggle to get used to 😂
Just a regular honda
Ah yes
ay fellow altima driver, i have a 2020 altima (for now) working to get a new car just kinda struggling a bit
Just a drag honda with nos and some ecu and turbo stuff
This one time I saw a Hyundai Elantra with a K5 badge under the logo
Funniest thing I saw that day
quick clip of the 6 rotor rx7 followed by a 13bt. filmed from a 13b bp at the impulsive rotary only day held at manfield NZ on march 5 2023
Fastest Car in Nevada 240 MPH Silver State classic May 2012 Jim Peruto sets world record 217+ MPH average on 100 miles of highway. Modified K Bush daytona nascar car.
I stumbled onto something
tbh with all the bad stigma aside 😂 its a pretty good car tbh
and that bad altima energy is on the older clapped ones
my 2019 has great mpgs, im at around 32mpg overall with my driving at range around 450-460 miles, got carplay, and blind spot is great
altimas are known to be the black air forces of cars but not our generation lol
i changed the taillights but i don’t think i have any pics from the back
ooooh that looks nice, i’ve been thinking of making the mirrors black and blacking out the grill
the grille is super easy
just clean it well and its some double sided tape, use a powerful hair dryer or heat gun to help it stick
the trim i got was like 40 bucks on amazon and its been great so far
cheaper than i expected tbh
that looks great
im thinking of either getting aftermarket taillights or just swapping all the bulbs to LED
what trim level is yours
SL
ah nice
yeah tbh i turned off the lane keep after a while sometimes it gets annoying when i am just kinda edging out to the edge of the lane to avoid a pot hole or something
id want smart cruise control too
half of my driving is done in traffic so that would be great
and mine has a manual foot ebrake too
yeah it does help the cruise control since there’s a lot of traffic here
does yours have the auto hold feature?
yeah, pretty useful at traffic lights
luckyyy
yeah i shouldve gone with a higher trim 😭
only thing i have is blind spot and forward radar
it’s pretty good haha
but i promise won’t be driving it next year
as i am trying to get a GR86
nice
this is my first car so im driving something more lowkey and chill. once i graduate hoping to get into a 330i or is350
i was about to get it last month but stuff happens and had to delay it
depending on the market
it’s my first car too!
but first car that i ever drove was my dad’s 2012 Range Rover Sport
modified a bit too
an is350 is pretty nice they’re more reliable too i think
yeah
but lexus/toyota also hold their value very well. more than german luxury brands who depreciate a lot
this is the only video i have of the exhaust noise of my dad’s car, not too bad
next 3-4 years i gotta save up though
maybe even a genesis tbh
my family loves hyundais
there’s a guy in my neighborhood that has a genesis modified
sounds great i think i have a video of it’s sound
i was just filming the rain and he decided to accelerate in the background randomly
genesis g70/is350/330i
but i love the interior of the new genesis
oooh yeah it does look nice, can’t go wrong with a bit of power with luxury
same powertrain as the stinger too, i drove my friends once and its surprisingly quick
reason why i am going for the GR86 is how light it is and of course because it’s RWD
i tend to like lighter less powerful cars over heavier more powerful cars
i need that nimbleness for those curves lol
i loved the stingers tbh pretty sad it’s leaving
but tbh the g70 was always the better buy
same powertrain and you get a much more comfortable interior
might be a little heavier and softer suspension for comfort which might hinder performance in corners, but not much performance loss in a straight line
yeah
i just want something adaptive, suspension can be comfy and sporty when you need it
my altima SR has the stiffened sport suspension and sometimes its just a pain
yeah i feel that
just realized the only good pictures i have of my taillights is from speeding cameras catching me😂
lmao
i try to drive conservatively most of the time because of the bad altima energy
i drive fast every once in a while mostly late at night with no traffic
the picture in the dark that’s when i was speeding while bored at night
the other one was because they changed the speed limit on that road from 90kmh to 80kmh and i didn’t realize it so i drove my usual 96-98kmh on it
@cyan wind ngl, a ninja 400 makes a decent gravel ADV bike
I wouldn’t recommend it but it’s surprisingly capable as long as it’s not completely loose gravel
It’s also a pretty capable tourer as I’ve done 500km today and have another 100 to go
ha, yeah i learnt that with the cbf i used a few weeks back
that's quite surprising actually
I thought it would be pretty awful after like 200 but it handled it very well. Biggest complaint is that the only storage on the bike is a tiny space underneath the rear seat that can’t even hold a phone
yeah sport bikes aren't great for it, you can get panniers though
like, the ones that hang over the seat so it's not always on
Yeah, I’m thinking of getting one but realistically, I could just bungee cord a bag to the rear seat
I’m supposed to go on a longer ride next week with my dad and imma just stick all my crap in his panniers lmao
nice
I have some pictures of some porsche show i took on my old phone
Ill try to find em
Mercedes speedtail
Thought it was the mcalren speed tail?
Not Mercedes
Thats the highlights and higher quality picutres from the porsche show
Also went into the museum which was right next to it
the mp4-9 yuuuuhuh
Heres some b roll and lesser quality images
Got more, i’ll find the rest, if y’all cant bear it anymore tho just say before i post
Oh btw next to the sierra is an ignis i think lmao
👀
They're also testing the ioniq 5 n right now
(EV6 gt is still better)
(I'm biased)
dont care what u say this sounds amazing
5n will be miles better
it’ll be a pony coupe, not a 74, sadly
like the concept, just without any of those cool aero bits
Interior? Hell no
Exterior? Yes
Hot ngl
Yikes, bad news
It was 1 hour ago
Oh
@cyan wind a CB650R just pulled up at our school
I did the hand thing and he didnt give a shit
he did rev a few once I was outside the gate
And on the other side of the CBR spectrum
is that yours?
that's based
I'd want one if I could fit on it
Nope
I think they’re quite 6”+ friendly
I’m 5’8 so I think I dont have to worry much
they're a bit uglier from the 1000 but i like it
Testing out new exhaust
Once I’m capable of earning money
I’ll get a Z650
Apparently they’re around the same price as Beamer E36’s
I’ll most likely enjoy the bike more
thats sick

I’m riding the ninja and it’s been really great all things considered
We’re around half way through a 500km day and it’s been pretty stellar. Hardest part is keeping up with the XR. I’m pinging it off the rev limiter in 5th trying to keep up while homie’s still in 3rd
yeah i imagine that xr has got some speed
that's mainly why when get my a2 license i don't want something like a 300, that won't fend much against a litre bike
This Sebring class-winning 1994 Nissan 300ZX is one of eight factory-supported Z32 race cars constructed by Clayton Cunningham Racing for IMSA competition and is one of just two campaigned with power from a naturally aspirated V8 engine. Purchased by current ownerapproximately 10 years ago, it’s listed now on BaT!

Its not really a speed thing but an acceleration thing. We weren’t doing more then 120km/h. It’s just that that fat fucker can get there real fast
definitely lmao
Honestly, get a 400/500/650. You’ll be able to chug along with 1000’s in until spooky speeds but it’s a lot easier to handle and a lot cheaper on your wallet
(Unless you want a cruiser, in which case just buy whatever you want as long as it’s under 1 ton lmao)
Sex
yeah that's why i want a versys 650 or a tiger 650 but the A2 laws are a bit annoying
idk if the versys would work, but you can buy it and restrict, then unrestrict it yourself
A2 laws are strange, because it says 47hp, but it doesn't directly translate to CC
it's not about CC, it's about power output, and to a lesser extent, weight. I have 46bhp in mind, but that might be out of date. [edit] might be 47, as you have seen]
There are definitely bigger bikes than 300cc that qualify, including some 600s. Some are compliant in standard form, some can be restricted.
like persay you can get a ninja 300, and you can get a CBX500
or a 600 tenere
or, you can get a bigger engine size and restrict
i think it's up to 97hp
That has only tho a really safe rating of 4
Is that a kawasaki ZX 25r Jeezzz
@cyan wind Went out of town today
saw many bikes, Adv Bikes which I’m not familar with. Theres also CB650’s, ZX6Rs, GSX-S, oh and an XSR700
and I may start considering Adv bikes
Ninja 650
Don’t get a 300, if you want a ninja, get the 400 or the 650
Thé 400 is A2 compatible from what I’ve read, dunno about the 650.
yeah i won't, engine is way too small for me and sport bikes wont work for me
that's why the cbx500 is my choice for a2 atm
only really consider if you really want it, i doubt adv will be your thing
you may prefer a sports tourer or smth
There was one at a dealership I was at recently and it got me considering bad financial decisions
I was gonna say something along those lines too. ADV bikes are kinda tricky to start on especially without MX experience. If you really like the look but don’t need the off-road bits, a sport touring like a S_XR (please don’t start on the big XR) , baby GS, Verseys, CBX…
I wouldn’t advise doing what some guy I’m in another server with did and buy a brand new speed triple as their first bike…
oh boy
Bruh
Death by motorcycle speedrun
If a Kawasaki Ninja 400, Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Honda CRF300L, BMW G 310 GS, and electric Sondors Metacycle roll into an arena, which one will be victorious as the best beginner motorcycle of 2023? Whether you’re a new rider or just someone looking for a lightweight, sub-$6,000 bike, this episode of CTXP goes beyond the manufacturers’ spec sh...
they're also ADV, and not everyone needs it. They're mainly made for long trips, offroad and they're built to be tall and upright. But if you're a bit shorter you could probably just get a sports tourer and have around the same result
though everyone is different, so take that with a pinch of salt
I’m genuinely falling for BMW GS’ and Benelli TRK’s
I saw a fuck ton the other day and its
Yikes a 1.2L as a first
its a dream, but it might be your last dream as well
but yeah
still along the lines of liking it and enjoying it
I’m starting to like Adv bikes
but I think I wont enjoy riding one the same as Sports and Naked bikes
I guess I’ll just stick to admiring them, considering I truly enjoy slick looks more
depends, you probs will have more fun with a sport bike but it all comes down to what you use it for
for weekend rides then a sport bike or a striple would sort you, but if it's long distance then you want something comfortable
Tiered licensing go brrrr
this makes wanting till i'm 19 even more sense
honestly it’s normal especially considering one is used and one is new
you can get a used MT07 for around 5k as well
no way we got the same exhaust
yeah it's just extortionate how expensive 125's are
especially supermotos
the price you get for the speed is mindblowing
you pay 3500 avg to get to 65mph
you can easily get a GSX650F for 3-4 grand
65 mph going downhill with wind*
i've actually gone 65 with no wind or downhill
most i went was downhill, 75
that was pretty unnerving
tbf when it comes to 125cc’s I’d rather have a moped
you definitely wouldn;t
125's aren't great, mopeds are next level ass
like mopeds are treated near enough as cyclists
I mean some of them are fun
if you get something like varadero that's big for a 125 you'll be treated decently
the one i tried i was so big for, hence my dislike to them
my friend has hit 163kph on GPS with it
Vespas are weirdly expensive
you got them in all sizes tbf
hexagon’s, runner’s ect
yeah but i'd still take a 125 over it
paying 5 grand to go 30mph😭
Yeah
criminal
Like I could get a 300 for that price
mopeds should be 1000 AT MOSt
honestly I’m in the middle
either R125 or a Gilera runner
besides that mopeds are actually easy to wheelie with
even 50cc ones
i only have a choice of a varadero or a shitty chinese bike that breaks down every 5s
don’t get chinese bikes, they are unreliable asf
i'd never
honda's are bulletproof and varadero's are tall and big
i'm also 6'2 at 17, so it's between that or no bike
an old friend of mine who couldn’t afford a Vespa got a chinese version of it and he’d spend 30-40 minutes to get it started
ooh I’m just a little taller
honestly I get the struggle
my back hurts every time after a ride
but I’m willing to do it since I love sport bikes more than cruisers
get a hayabusa
jkjk
I used to own a 1000SX
without a license tho
so after I crashed it I obviously didn’t get to keep it
i gotta wait till i'm 21 for that lmao
wait a bit longer
17 is restricted to 125 until 19, then it's up to 47bhp
i'm not waiting another 4 years
get experience on other liter bikes before you get a Hayabusa
thats at least better than the law here
from 18 to 20 ur restricted to 125cc
after that 2 years with 47bhp
where you from?
but what most people do is unrestrict them after getting the bike
Netherlands
fair, from england and our rules are strict but dumb
yeah honestly when it comes to that USA does it better
you can get 125cc at 16
and whatever u want at 18 I believe
There's no cc limitation in my state
america's laws are incredibly loose
You can get a Hayabusa at 16 if you're stupid enough
yeah but you also get punished badly for the smallest crimes
like u can get jail time for drinking and driving
that sounds about right for anywhere
here the cops just tell u to walk home and get ur car back the next day
also theres this stupid law
if u get into a cop chase
Too many DUI related incidents here for that
and ur either heavily drunk or drugged u can get away with all the damages ect because “you didn’t know what you were doing”
and they only charge you for driving under the influence
huh lmfao
some people have actually gotten away with that
they lost their license tho
but its better than paying all those fines
that's bonkers
Its faster to migrate to land of freedom
Took my dads Blackbird for a nice ride ;)
Akrapovic full Exhaust System no DB Killer
Tuned and Dyno @160hp at the wheel
i need one asap
impulsively move to murica for two years then come back with a 650
iirc, the uk police use that as an undercover bike
ah i'm wrong, they use fireblades https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BHU8hOs0yw

yeah the 1200rt's
can’t stand them
they somehow found a way to make a crossover suv out of a motorbike
they look comfortable and that's about it

I still think at the ZX4RR’s price range
you might as well get a ZX6R
I think only thing separating the 2 is that the ZX4 is more on beginner friendly
while the ZX6R can also be one, but yeahhhhh, not really
its doable but yeah not exactly recommended
this is coming from my ass who’s contemplating on getting an XSR900
maybe as a 2nd bike lmao
the thing is, I’m tempted on getting it as a first
only thing stopping me is me loving my life, and my wallet
i'd also recommend wearing sandals and no gear
make it easier for your death wish
at most, for a starter i'd say like is 400

enough to enjoy yourself on and not really outgrow
yeah I think I’ll get the Z400 if ever
I keep seeing a Z400 here
looks great for my height
not too small not too big
125 i really outgrew within a few rides, so i can imagine a cb500x would be great fun
my dad also said when i get a 500 we'll travel on it, so i can get that too lol
saw this in marketplace, looks nice in that colour
the streetfighter is awesome
Agreed
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISIVdysgNKU ngl this looks fun asf

Streetfighter > Panigale
I never really liked the geometry of Svartpilen and the other one
Vitiplen I think
it doesn't look pleasant to ride long term
iirc estebussin had one and liked it, so i'm probs wrong
it's also nearly 5am so i need to go get sleep
lmaoo aight
goodmornight?
It’s not really much more beginner friendly given it weights only like 30 pounds less than the 6 lmao
the seat looks incredibly thin
It almost certainly is
Same with the R3 which is basically just plywood wrapped in fake leather
literally
I just wont bother really starting on sportbikes at the 400 range
not much goods ones
except the ninja
I wonder with restrictor kits, they restrict just to 70mph or give you just the A2 compliant hp
The ninja 400 is pretty goated Ngl, and if you have the ability you can keep it when you upgrade and make it a pretty sick track day machine
It will also do 160km/h stock with not that much effort allegedly
I’m wondering if an R3 is expressway legal
expressway laws says 400 and above
but I see some 300cc bikes getting papers for expressway stuff
I’d like an R3 ngl
If you wanna do highway stuff for more than a few minutes, don’t
engine struggles?
figured
A 300 will do 100 but it’s gonna scream it’s little heart out which isn’t a good riding experience
Guess I’ll start looking into 600’s with parallel twins
Z650 is still my number 1 pick
I wouldn’t discount the 400’s tho, i still managed around 750-1000k over two days on mine and I have very little complaints besides the seat being kinda tiny
The Z650 is pretty sick Ngl
im in love with the z series, but if im doing big mileage I'll stick to a chunkier bike
I’d take an MT7 over it but that’s more a personal preference
if im rich enough for a touring bike and a run around the weekend bike, I'd pick something like the z1000
so some are throttle restrictors and some are ECU, gonna see if a versys is ecu
I’m liking the ZH2
Just get KLR and you won’t have to worry about restrictions lmao
Comfier and more modern Z1k with the electronics shit
That bike is a rolling restrictor
but Z1000 looks way hotter than the ZH2
There was one that sold at a dealership near me for 32k CAD which is absurd
I just hate the headlights
Stop with the angry bug eyes pls
quite the dirt bike look
I like it
Bring back the old Kanata folding headlight
Shit looks goofy and I want it
Peak performance
I know y’all are telling me to not start on a 650, but one day you’ll just see me posting about it here
Cb650 in blue looks beaut
Nah, 650 is the upper limit of what is smart to start on
R7, R6 and ZX6R are probably pretty bad ideas to start out on Ngl
Basically anything that isn’t a super sport
R6 and ZX6R might not be that much of a great idea to start on anyways
So no baby fireblade either
considering the 2 are track ready bikes producing almost the same torque and horses as litres
but my stubborn ass still might start on one
Versys 400 when kawi
Surprised PH cops have the budget for that
If you want a big displacement beginner bike, just get a 1000cc cruiser lol
so theres no way PH Police sanctioned that
a friend of mine started on a litre Harley
The only motorcycle I've seen in the Philippines that isn't for trycicles was some sort of ninja
Christ
Good and all except for its weight
Not a horrible idea, I think 3 people I took my license course with ended up doing that
Yeah its sluggish so its an alright idea
Average PH motorcycle
not fast enough to scare the soul out of you
fr
Or the
or those Scooters
Mio
Oh they’ll go up to scary speeds but it will take a while to reach um and it will probably death wobble before hand
Only scooter I like is Yamaha’s Nmax
yupp
I think rolling up to school in a harley is badass
Can someone explain th Honda ADV scooter to me
