drive it home
Can't
Permit doesn't allow freeway driving
License?
Yeah
but can you go down like smaller roads n shit to get therer
I get the license 6 months after holding the permit
Oooh
3 hour ride
Without the highway
wellp it’ll definitely cost alot if you have it transported via transport truck
if you have a pickup
i see
you can load it at the back
well there's a shit ending either way lmao
yepp
3 hour ride and don't have to pay for it to be transported, or just transport it pay a ton
imo i'd see how much fuel is to get there and compare to transported
all options are hassles
but if you really want the bike
do the 3 hour drive, just so you get s feel for it
if its a touring bike, might as well be comfortable eh?
Its an adv
Honda?
Oooh
Seats are known to be rock hard though
versys can't be that bad
Yeah
versys are great fun, 1000 is atleast lol
Engine is from a ninja 300
considering it's a versys it'll be a long ride, but it won't suck as much as other bikes
Ninja 400 = Z400
Wellp I’m going out of town for Senior Highschool
And because I’ll be living in dorms, I wont travel home as much
might actually consider a bike
@sick pike can you get a quote for how much it'd be to transport it?
only consider if you're not gonna be carrying alot
yepp
while bikes are fun, if you've got shit like a pc or something to carry there's not much point
School I’ll go to is around 3 hours away from home
dorm and my home will have clothes and stuff, so travelling home with light luggage is doable
tho 3 hours on a bike aint pleasant
i'd suggest oxford panniers aswell, idk how accessible they are from where you're at but they're great
oxford p60's or whatever they're called
side bags > top boxes

my dad was going to get one
what happened?
1260
According to one website
Ahhh not worth it
might as well get a ‘95 accord with that 1260
i cannot stand those cheap shit ones
For delivery riders too
tho on the other hand, its comfortable if you’re back riding
cause you can lay your back there
chad side bags
what
it's a fuckin bag aswell 😭
I’m honestly starting to consider an Inline 4 650
without any experience whatsoever
if you get a top box get one that actually looks good and not some plastic shit
enjoy paying insurance
Insurance cheapo here
I'm surprised u haul sells tow hitches for sedans
its very sex
Could use a motorcycle trailer from them and tow using some vehicle
i was gonna get the 125 version of those if i didn't say
what car do you have?
if its a pickup, you can drive it home
Legacy
ohh
but then you have to drive it back
yepp
all viable options include driving it back
I suggest the 3 hour ride if you really want it
or look into other Versys 300’s near you
unless i'm an ignorant bri ish and they have someone take it back
You have to drive the thing back iirc
If you know someone who drives bikes
bring them with you and y’all can take turns getting it home
first hour and a half is you, second is your lad
Don't know anyone
Maybe my mom does
Since I remember her mentioning her co workers having motorcycles
that’ll do the trick
@cyan wind considering this as well
heard its a great bike for starters
Although I don't think I'm gonna be confident in riding the thing since it's gonna be my first time on a motorcycle
That isn't a small ass 125cc
your first time ever?
tho common issue I hear from riders bout the trident is its throttle response
oh
i can only say seb is to be careful, rag it around a few times around a car park or sometthing
no manual experience?
^^
I thought of a 125cc scooter
thats great
8hrs all together or at one time
the 300 is gonna be a small hop
4 hours in 2 days
Most of the time in that 8 hours was waiting though
Since we usually did things one by one
Or in groups
one thing you'll find is the steering will probably be way heavier
only because it's actually built to handle highway speeds, unlike 125's
but that's only for low speed, and higher speed it'll be the same but nowhere near as bad
I want me a Kawi 650
i think 150 is smart
because that can actually do 70
imo uk needs to make for 17 yr olds atleast 200cc
we have no restrictions here
lucky
they're so fucking tight on rules
i can't ride that ninja till i do a 3 day test at 19
tho your license needs to say that you’re allowed to drive bikes
but thats an easy process
just go to your nearest LTO (DMV in Philippines) and get it changed
@cyan wind its still a stupid choice to go for an Inline 4 650 yeah?
650s a bit high imo
it is yeah
650 for a first bike is a bit wild
i'd do 400
300 is enough to get you in and out of bad situations, and is a good beginners mark
400 is just if you want a lil bit more
Duke 390 remains my safe point if ever I fully consider 400’s
I don't know if I wanna change the sprocket if I ever get a versys
gets me access to freeway
so might work for doing long travels
the cb300r does 100, which i think is enough for a beginner
Cause you can skip 1st gear entirely on the road
Geared for off-roading and it is very short
wellp If I do get a 650, I’d go for Z or a Ninja
650’s already crazy
inline 4 would just be fucken crazier
how tall are ye zero
probs said before i've just forgotten with my horrific memory sorry
Are other countries also getting this ninja?
around 5’8
ah that won't be that bad then
yep
It looks amazing
uk is selling them so fuckin overpriced
What's the difference between that and the normal 400
sells around the same price as a used 2019 Zx6r iirc
ZX bikes from Kawi are track ready bikes
Oh
main difference is its ergonomics and its engine
ZX4 has an Inline 4
Surprisingly, Kawi’s 250cc ZX25R has an Inline 4
idk
IT DOES EXIST?
from what I’ve heard, peeps do say that Inline 4 bikes are more expensive to maintain, dk bout V-Twin tho
What about V4's though
I'm quite surprised that for bikes with such a common engine configuration, the maintenance would be a pain.
Even though engine configuration means nothing when it comes to many more things
isn't v4 only done by ducati with that one model or am I ignorant
Aprilia
Aprilia has V4’s too
ah
both Italians
iirc they're just expensive as balls
indeed
I want a Ducati as a first litre bike after my 650cc experience
but hell
even the V2’s expensive as shit
Indeed
I may do Naked Bikes
but 1000cc Sport Bikes are just hooot
so may go down that path
tho If I do get a Z650, I’ll keep it
so I’ll have a Twin Cyl Daily
I want a sports tourer that'd fit me
I'd love to ride, man
Goldwings are cool
gold wings are just a small car near enough
Big as a bike, small as a car
basically
i just want a bike i can actually overtake people and not be overtaken every 5 fuckin seconds
hmm

2012年9月16日に長野県内の某所駐車場にて練習してきました!直線スラロームの感覚は4mでしたので非常にキツかったです。GL1800は見た目と違い、非常にスポーティーな走りをします!

Yamaha
kawasaki and honda have a soft place in my heart
I'm not really a fan of Suzukis or Kawasakis.
suzuki were never my thing
Some of the ninjas are alright and some aren't, I more like the z series and the versys
Honda mainly because my dad started on one, and it's what I'll start on eventually
I never really liked Suzukis
Their colour schemes always bright, and newer models still has that 2000’s looks
2006 and 2020
Porsche gt3rs
Their naked series looked nice but that's about it
Their headlights are like marmite, you either love it or you fuckin hate it
same
but shiiiit
Suzuki Nakeds are hooooot
Because Suzuki hasn’t updated them since the 2000’s lmao
exactly, still keeping up with their classic looks
Can't say I'm a fan of the Y2K Alien aesthetic superbikes went for
"Porsche headlights on Kermit the frog"
god they are the embolism of sex
The elusive H2 spotted in the wild
Oh shiiit
H2
Fuckin Hell, H2 with Vandemon exhaust is literal Sex
Should be the standard H2 exhaust instead of that humongous stock exhaust
Also forgot about these
I went to the gear shop earlier but i didnt buy anything
imma order online instead incase a sale happens
just need to find out what jacket i wanna get
ive sorted out gloves pants and boots
ones with sliders will do
tho idk any good brands
only brand I know that makes great riding jackets is Alpinestars
but considering its quality
I’m expecting a fat price tag
those dukes are hot but don't last
hold on
what my old man told me about some companies, take what you will of it
Dainese and Alpinestars are the only ones available here
Have not seen those other brands
it's probs more european based than america
dainese is expensive as shit
richa is what you want
but idk how easy it is to get that shit in the states
They're on revzilla
i'd get richa
i have richa gloves and they're pretty damn good
do some good boots too apparently
I'm getting alpinestars for boots
This one
Tried it on at the store and it was pretty good
Only cause for concern are reviews mentioning the velcro wearing out
This one looks pretty good
that looks good
All season too
this is what i was looking at
tad bit less than the richa
i've seen vids and they say it lasts forever
dont last as in bad reliability?
Yeah
Is the Dodge Charger STR Hellcat a very good car
Yes no ?
Are there better alternative
(I don't have money to buy a car I just want to culture myself about obvious cars that will never break the speed limit)
Just like any muscle cars
I think it's a very beautiful car but for some weird reason
I feel like between Ford, Chevrolet and Dodge, Dodge has that Racist uncle vibe
It's because Dodge haven't tried to waver too much from the Muscle car philosophy relative to Chevrolet and Ford who've gared it more toward Supercar territory
Oooh
But like apart from that I find the Charger Beautiful
For me it really feels like a stree race car
Oh absolutely, they don't look ugly by any means
Wait i have a photo of that car iirc
srt* and depends what you want
comparatively cheap power? definitely
nice enough interior and practical? sure
handling and build quality? nope
What does this serv thinks about Hybrid Corvette
the e-ray is bloody cool
Roadtrip through Italy, keys for one, what you are picking?
ferrari
Honestly none
But cause question Lamborghini
Yeah fair
I would take a BT62 every time
My dream car is a challenger SRT Demon Redeye Widebody
Nice
Ferrari of course, not the Audi
ferrari
seems more comfortable for a long drive
the aston martin valkyrie looks like an f1 car with a blanket on top of it
Probably is tbh
But i think it’s the 812 Comp no?
Roma would’ve been my choice
yepp
Yeah i wonder how comfortable that thing is
wellp, considering its a track ready supercar
seats definitely gonna be not so comfortable
but comparing your seating position in the 812 comp with the Huracan
812 comps definitely more comfy
Suspension is probably also more stiff
yepp
But yeah seating position is a good one
I’d choose a 488 Pista over that 812
Seats look more comfortable
and it still looks flashy
so win-win
458 for me tbh
I prefer 488’s more, tho 458 still is one of my favourite cars
Fair
cant think of a comfier substitute for the Huracan
all Lambos look aggressive
At least Porsche has the Panamera yk
True
Comfortable 4 door estate
Yep
If its a grand tour, with more car options other than the Ferrari and the Lambo
I’d go for Porsche or BMW
https://www.lamborghini.com/en-en/models/concept/estoque Tbh though, this could've been cool
GT3... manual
👌
Lambo version of the FF?
yeah it is just a concept car
really sucks because it does look pretty good, reminds me of the 70s Lamborghinis
Yeah definitely a 70’s look
Mate, wheeling it through a roundabout at that speed ☠️
Kawi's naked bike looks cool too
There’s a fine line we need to ride between safe and long but boring life, and insanely enjoyable but dangerous life
There’s a reason I snowboard, mountain bike, and ride motorcycles, but don’t do insanely batshit crazy stuff
The Z series gets better with the bigger engines
Their 1000 is sexy
Definitely, riding is already dangerous enough and the last thing you need is a truck to not look and you're done by the time you're not even 30 and you've had less time to react because you're going a billion miles an hour
I'll gladly test out what I can do on a bike, but you stick on a fine line between crashing and staying on ghe road
Treat riding like your invisible while everyone else is trying to kill you

It’s all about risk assessment and doing things that are within the bounds of what risks you deem acceptable
Yeah
Hey
Best way to teach riding honestly
I was literally wearing high vis on a yellow bike and I'd still get cut off on my lessons lmfao
But doing dumb shit on the road (or anywhere in public) doesn’t just put yourself at risk, it puts others who haven’t accepted those risks at danger of suffering the consequences
that's exactly what I was going to mention aswell
you do dumb shit by yourself, don't put others in your shit
We rode in packs of 12 bikers for our classes and people still tried to cut into us
If you wanna squid/hoon/send it, just do it responsibly
I mean they also made us go 160kph in a 100 zone and got salty when I refused to
how fast is 160 like 85 or something?
100mph
Don’t give me a rebel 500 with a death wobble if you expect me to do that speed
My wr tops out at like 85mph
I cannot imagine doing 80 let alone 100, the 125 I was on did 75 and it started to feel light and shat a brick
The driving school I went to likes to flex that they are the only school without a student death or serious injury
how lovely
All our bikes were 500’s
fair play
Over here it's really strict, the bike I usually did lessons on did 65 at most and downhill leaned in was 75
I really wish I could just start on a 300
Yeah, I’m riding with my dad for a year (he’s been riding 20+ years and raced supermoto in the early 2010s) and he’s just having me take it slow and slowly ramp it up which is perfect for learning, i got my bike back in early January but I’ve done some small stuff, still no highways of any sorta but gone on main roads, decent at clutch control and keeping it smooth, etc.
Idk why it responded to your message
lmfao
I don’t really see the point starting on something tiny like a 125.
They are so light that you can really cheat when it comes to turning and low speed maneuvers
So it’s quite easy to develop bad habits
I'm only doing it cus I don't want to wait 2 years and have zero actual road experience when getting a big bike, and insurance will be through the roof
That's also why I'm gonna do a few lessons on bigger bikes when I can to get rid of some of them
Honestly, CC isn’t the defining factor. It’s where the weight is and how engine is
Is there alot of engine braking, because on the cbf I go on there's a shit ton
The 805cc boulevard was probably the easiest to ride
Despite weighing more than a battleship
For sure, the Kawasaki I did my cbt on was ridiculously easy to turn, but then I tried turning my dad's zr750, and i could barely do it lmfao
Not really that much but I’ve only ridden my ninja around 20-30km so that opinion might change
Fair enough
The cbf has an unreal amount of engine braking, but it teaches you to be smooth at the same time
I'm just interested to see how the varadero goes, my old man rates it highly and people say its great and has a 'big bike feel'
About as big bike as a 125 gets lol
I really want an Africa twin when I'm more experienced
I love the africa twin
Me too but I’m a Manlet so that’s not happening
lmfao, I'll probably settle for a versys or something eventually
I have no idea if I can even sit on it
Let me check their seat height
You can always get lowering kits /lower seats
34.3"
I really want to try that ktm adv
I think Ill probably get taller
It's fucking ridiculously massive
All the KTMs are massive
I’m surprised their 125cc bikes aren’t somehow taller than a KLR
The versys doesn't look as cool as the AT imo
Idk I love them both
The versys has a great touring look and the at looks a bit more off road
Get a KLR and you can have none of the looks and none of the performance
But they are cheeeeeap
The ninja 400 is legally a sport touring
Weirdly enough I like the looks of the klr 650 though
that cannot be comfy for more than like 50 miles
I just love the fact that kawi made a carbureted bike up until 2020
And then added EFI and changed nothing else and are still selling it
Honda has a new model that's carbureted
kawasaki H2 SX is what I want to try
My first ride this spring to bring the bike from my dads garage to my pace Is around 200 miles so I’ll let you know lmao
My second option to the AT was the r1250 GS but that's also the same height
Please do lmfao
Could probs get a lowering kit
Suzuki VSTROM or the Super Tenerè are pretty comfy if you are on the short side of things
I know atleast multistradas do it
I couldn’t even get the R1250 off the kickstand when I tried lmao
Ok hold on I do not vibe with those headlights
Some other guy the same height as me looked me dead in the eye and said “forget it man, it’s not happening “
LMFAO
unlucky dude
Thing is I could probably get on a few of them, but riding them is a different story
My arms are like sticks and I cannot imagine having to turn them alot in shittier traffic or close quarters
Adv bikes are ment for tight turns so it’s probably not that bad
Yeah I'll just need to hit the gym a bit to turn the bastards lol
But I’d pay money to see someone navigating inner London rush hour on a gold wing
My eyes water imagining thaf
Over 1 ton loaded
My dad's versys hates traffic, we were sitting in a bit of standstill and he mentioned he could already feel it getting warm because those things hate sitting around
Fuck everything about that
Yeah that's ridiculous
I seriously cannot imagine how heavy that is in standstill
also a reminder to go buy earplugs if you haven't already
And looking at the time it's a good time to adios for a bit, 2am and I've got to be up for 9 lol
Adios
Good chatting with you vase and VTOL

Saw someone lane splitting in an old goldwing earlier
The title says it all
still thinking if I should get a Z650, CB650R or an MT-07
I can flat foot those bikes so only thing to learn on it more is its power
Z650’s in Kawi green looks hot
What car is this?
looks like a Mustang
but its definitely a Kit Car
not an actual stang judging by its looks
New Alfa Romeo GTS 👑
Interesting design
Challenger vibes
Anyway
This is the new Ferrari Purosangue and everything you want to know about it! With a Purosangue on order myself, this is one I'm really excited about. It's a car that arrives to some very high expectations, so let's find out how it stacks up with a full tour and first drive!
The Purosangue is perhaps an SUV by category, but it really isn't as a ...
The CT5?
impound or auction lot?
Auction
Yessir
The little knob on the wheel’s pretty cool, especially the no-lift-shift tech as well
Powershifting for days
much prefer to the urus, sounds better too
The CTS is a different car from the CT5
Not sure how i feel about the looks tbh
rory reid (auto trader) says he prefers the looks to other cars in ferraris current range
Does he?
i see it, especially with the suicide doors, theyre gorgeoues
he thinks its prettier than the roma (debatable, 296 (yes) and sf90 (yes)

Yeah there is a reason i hardly even listen to automotive journalists
Roma and the F8 both look great
F8 is not quite 458 level but it works
458 is a classic
The Purosangue looks hella confused
I'm not a huge fan of the Purosangne
its the best looking of the fast suvs
I like the Urus or the Q8 better
It looks like it's a Roma that got hideously mutated
Yeah lol
the urus is such a con when the q8 exists
I'm more of a LM002 enjoyer
I saw one of those Aston Martin SUV and it confused me. Then I remembered that Aston actually made an SUV
id just save my money and have a m3 touring
I love the Q8
The DBX is a Vantage with an addiction to steroids
theres a twat around me with a rsq8, who has more money than sense. he sends it at like 70mph round residential areas
I would love an RS6 avant but I'm not made of money
I'm just hoping that Aston slaps the V12 into the Vantage again
they have
Lmao
Pog
Nice
he was linked with this... i believe
I always loved the vantages
Yeah same
Bruuuuhhh
him and his mates run a posh indian restaurant down the road, always see m bmws and amg mercs circulating
the best zagato
Yes
wagooooooon
Kinda reminds me of the breadvan
Literally a ford
Yeah
sexy if it wasn't painfully overpriced
And offered in a color other than that green color
I don’t care that it’s Kawasaki’s iconic color, me no like it
1k more than a ninja 650
I’m still salty they haven’t released a verseys with the engine of the ninja 400
Like it still uses the old ass motor from the old ninja 300
they probs will soon, and overprice it to shit
In the US they'll be ridiculously detuned to redline at 11,500 to make 56~ bhp as opposed to a 16,000rpm redline with 76.4bhp @ 15,000
there’s no Versys 400 yeah?
prolly the reason it doesnt use N400 engines
New bike moment
ZX25R’s are priced around the same as used ‘21 Ninja 650’s
and its a fucken 250
woule be the perfect versys for me imo
ill settle on the 300 for now
i have no idea what engine guard i wanna put on it though
or a top box
get side bags
i want something to put my helmet in
plus i dont think id be comfortable in carrying cargo yet
Introducing my first car!
A3?
2009 A3 8P
looks good
ty ty
The Maserati Quattroporte V was developed while Ferrari owned the company, under the guidance of Enzo The Second, Luca Cordero Di Montezemolo.
It used a Ferrari-built V-8 whose sound was, thanks to a 2008 study, scientifically proven to increase sexual arousal.
This is just the beginning of its appeal — though the Quattroporte wasn't a home-ru...
FF do be cool ngl
Yes it's also a nice car when your in it
this is the way
a top box is a great way to make sure your bike looks ugly
Vtol does want a top box for helmet reasons
I cant think of ways riders puts away their helmet when they leave their bike unattended
unless bringing it with them orrr leaving it on their bike and wish that no one steals it
yeah fair enough
most of the time i see them they're never used and it just looks a bit miff if you're not using it
yeah it's either top box or you get a lock and put it on the handlebars
you can do backpacks as well if you cant be assed to hand carry your helmet
only issue with that obvs is you'll have fuck all bag space after that, and it is a bit heavy on your back depending on your helmet
I could hang it from the loops on my backpack but I already have a lot of stuff in there
And I don't wanna carry more weight
electric cars are cool
yep but not for the planet
budget triumph and you can very much tell the difference, but still okay bikes
Royal Enfield is overrated
Well atleast in my area/region
india?
South India specifically
Its considered as a status symbol even though almost everyone has one

Its also unnecessarily loud for the amount of power they make
yeah, that's when a top box or just a helmet lock is helpful
Idk what brands make top boxes besides givi and shad
The ones i've looked at so far look ugly as hell
could get those metal ones, but even as topboxes they look out of place
shad's doesn't look terrible for what it is
how about dont wear a helmet so you dont have to worry about where to put it?
(for legal reasons its a joke)
i mean you could do that in some states

honestly some top boxes don't look as bad, i just can't stand those cheap ones with the red highlights
like these
like these look nowhere near as bad, the bottom right is a chonky though
bottom right looks like a cooler
but doesnt look half bad
its purdy decent I’d say
imo the top left is the best one
looks a bit too slim for a helmet
my main thing about them is they make the bike look even longer
it looks like this, when really i wished it'd look like this
yeah like that
that's why i prefer sidebags, they don't push out the end
sure it make the bikes wider but it fits better
are side bags big enough for a helmet existent?
yepp
yeah thye can fit
Tank Bags
I like this
problem is, if they’re too big, you wont be able to see the speedometer
i'm not sure how i feel about them
I like them
some of them look massive
if it was a little one just to carry electronics or whatever, then that sounds good
yeah if it fits then it'll probs be great, but trying to fit 20l on your tank on a smaller bike is mad
like those big ones are made for big bikes yano
but shoving a massive one on your 125 will just not fit and will make vision to your dash even harde
you’ll prolly end up having the hug the tank bag as well just to reach the handles
like this looks great, only if you aren't using your phone as a gps
I think the 20L ones gonna work best if you’re doing trails and stuff
since you prolly wont have to look at your speedometer that much
yepp
most of the time all you'll use is a backpack and a top box or sidebags
also the most singlehandedly expensive coat hanger you'll ever get
well, I’ll get a bike for school reasons, considering school I’m going to is around 70km’s away from my home town, and I’ll only be able to go back home at least 2-3 times a month
I’ll only need a backpack
change of clothes and personal belongings
yeah mine will be shorts commute and off to see family, so i'd probably bring the same
just some clothes and phone charger and whatnot
i hope to have a new bike soon
i just want to see my dad and other relatives who live far away for the most part
and also get out of my home city, it's getting worse here lol
I just want a source of transportation where I’ll get enough adrenaline to put a smile on my face
tho despite that, riding on expressways sounds scary
is an expressway just a motorway
yepp
i had a very short stint to get through a road that was shut off, and it's honestly nothing to be afraid of
i was just told to keep checking my mirrors abt every 30 ish seconds just to be aware of who's around you, and if anyone does anything stupid, just keep two seconds behind them
taking notes, thanks honour
for sure, awareness and being predictable is the core of it
and don't predict the expected, that'll always go wrong
and dear god don't ride while tired, because you will crash
Harley rider wearing full gear and bright colors???
The E26-chassis BMW M1 — the first car ever from a new subsidiary of BMW, creatively called "BMW Motorsport" — is one of few cars ever produced that started out as a race car and then was developed into a road car solely for homologation purposes.
Cars developed this way are in ultra-exclusive rarified air, but the M1's development was so fraug...
Its ridiculous
What baffles me is even some states don't require you to wear a helmet
In small towns here in the Philippines, helmets are rarely worn
if ever helmets are present, they’re those Pro Tec lookin helmets
yeah
most of the time here since most bikers are delivery, they have those half face with a visor
which always confused me, because you may aswell just get a modular
traffic marshals in smaller towns could care less about riders not wearing helmets
however in big places
such as Manila
its a different story
Jeans, Shoes and Full Face Helmet are the stuff LTO(Philippines DMV) requires for bigger places
My grandmother and her BF absolutely hate wearing helmets but since they are legally required here, they bought the cheapest, least protecting ones and wear them backwards to “protest”
... Bruh
christ 💀
how can you hate wearing a helmet
The last time a group had a helmet protest one of em died from an injury to the head a helmet would've prevented
I wanna see a Honda Goldwing made for motorcycle road racing
Old people moment
Bruh
32>34 any day
Even though I absolutely love the 34, no way in hell is it better than the 32
I honestly thought that the R35 would've gotten more votes, but considering how it's been milked beyond comprehension, up to the point where it got boring, I can see why it got 15% of votes
35 is bland at this point
Doesn't have the rare status of the other cars
Everyone and their mom has seen one at some point
Good choice
wild how overrated the r34 is
https://youtube.com/shorts/C0HiSUhDH6I?feature=share great quick video about red-lights @sick pike @tulip bramble
adobo as his username is a very big hint
yepp
R-32 and Hakosuka for me please
dont think its overrated... given its a brilliant piece of kit
Nice bit of kit but the fact it completely dominates over other nice bits of kit is insane
hey everyone, can someone recommend me a dashcam? my price range is $150-200 USD. im looking for something reliable, front/rear recording, preferably 1440p. a good accompanying app is also something id really want, but not necessary if there is a good dashcam that ticks the other boxes. please let me know if you guys know any good ones, thanks. please @ me with any recommendations
https://youtube.com/shorts/FZOagBY-nE4?feature=share you learn something everyday, now I know why my wrists hurt so much when riding lol
Viofos a pretty good brand
Mom has an a129 pro duo works well but the parking mode doesn't work
Probably because it's installed wrong or something
Never really bothered to fix it
The A129 Plus Duo is VIOFO’s latest dual-channel dash cam that supports 2K QHD video recording. We have tested the dash cam and we can say that it is more than just an upgraded version of the A129 Duo or the A119 V3 - it's our favourite budget-friendly 2K dual-channel dash cam of 2020.
@sick pike thanks ill check that out
do you know if it works well with window tint?
my rear window is 5 percent tint
I think it should?
I'll check tomorrow
When my mom's home
Rear windows tinted and there's a cam there
I found this Nissan Sentra today
@sick pike hey do you know if it came with a sd card or do i have to buy one?
it doesnt
there is a version with onboard storage but it only has 16 gigs
most sites dont sell that version though i think
ikr cant believe ppl cant differentiate between sentra's and sunny's
@cyan wind just saw a Suzuki SV650
I checked out the headers up front and only saw one pipe and the bike had thick tires, wondered how a single cylinder bike produced enough power for it to have a thick tire
just found out it was a V-Twin
did notice that the underbelly had 2 pipes but didnt came to mind that suzuki had v-twins
yeah they're usually the first a2 someone buys
reliable and cheap iirc
around the same range as 2017 MT-07s and 2021 Z650’s
I’d still choose MT-07’s
but gotta love the V-twin sound of the SV650
their nakeds are cool but the sportier ones just make me thing squid
true Gixxers looks mid
still has that y2k alien look
except the ‘22 GSXR1k ig
but yeah, still not my stuff
GSX-S’ however
what I will say doesn't make sense
but what is the difference between the Bmw M1 to M8
like
In Porsche for exemple
there is GT3, which is the best of the 911, and the GT2, same but smaller
and gt4, top of the 718
etc
is it in order of quality ?
like the 8 the best and 1 the worst
or really just size
anyone in NA know a good insurance company for motorcycles?
@sick pike thanks for the advice, i went with your recommendation
You gotta be more specific than that since not all insurance companies cover all states/provinces
I've been needing to look at dashcams. Let us know what you think of that one
👍
this one should be good, i also saw on r/dashcams its one of the most popular options that people choose
ill let you know how it is once i install it and test it out
np
cali
i googled and it seems like progressive's a good one
i use progressive
they are good but customer service is not that great/efficient
by good i mean ive never had to deal with them with any issues i had with coverage
but when i got a flat tire, they had me on hold forever and said it would take 2 hours for a tow truck to come get me. i called hyundai roadside assistance and they had a truck out to me within 25 minutes
meanwhile both progressive and hyundai roadside assistance use triple A trucks, which was weird on progressives part. that was the only time i had a bad experience firsthand with them
Check with your parents/workplace, you can maybe get some pretty cheap insurance that way
i just received the package and it looks great. included pry tool and cable clips. they also include a microsd to usb reader which is super convenient
Another thing I forgot to mention is that viofos phone app isn't the best but it works
yeah i saw that
most of the asian brands do not have good apps
gotta go with nexar/garmin to get a good app but those are way too expensive for me
the other features of the dashcam and its price make up for a bad app. the rest of the dash cam is great value so i dont mind a subpar app
did a lot of research and many people pick this one
true
Z1000 looks outdated
But I guess the saying “Something perfect shouldn’t be changed” or something like that, applies to the Z1k
what's the difference between M3 and M4
cause I find on BMW site that M5 is Sedan, but I can also find it Coupe
so do those numbers really correspond to the Length
size*
I don't think so
Even if it is old it's definitely aged well
The older ones do look a bit outdated, but the new ones are fire
I don’t think that’s how that works
oh definitely
aged like fine wine
I'm so lost
why don't they make them easy
yepp, something perfect looking doesnt need to be changed
1st pic is 2014 and 2nd is 2023
nope
just standard german car manufacturer stuff
THE NUMBERS MASON WHAT DO THEY MEAN
numbers numbers numbers numbers
yeah but Mazda
or Porsches
Porsches much more confusing with generations
Mazda 3, Mazda 4, 5 and so on
nope
BNR32
BCNR33
BNR34
after the Porsche 911 (997) you’d think 998 generation is next
992
but nope
but nope, 911 (991)
😐
German manufacturers are confusing with their model names
especially mercedes
for BMW you only have to know single digit numbers with a letter
Mercedes went “fuck it” and put 3 digit numbers and single or double letters
the thing is also some of them are outdated
cause bmw fucked up the design
so the M4 has the weird grill
the new m2 is Chinese bodykit
I honestly prefer BMWs previous gen of cars
yeah
new Beamers has weird grills
so M5 is four doors ?
M5 is a coupe iirc
did you see the new M2 ?
oh nvm
M5 is a 4 door ye
M8 hottest Beamer
Real
seems like it
