i have to be careful as California is very strict on the emissions part - even software tunes are now subject to emissions fails

your R if you've got a tune, would 100% not pass

my earlier car has a non-standardized ECU so the software flash isn't detectable - one of the reasons I've not bothered to buy a newer car
