yes
Yeah
Similar, but Alonso do that with 2 different teams
Nice pictures
That low revving V12 that sounded amazing
Everybody talks about Alonsos Ferrari campaign in 2012 but not Laudas title campaign in 1977
Lauda won the 1977 title with 2 races left to go when Ferrari was arguably the 3rd or 4th fastest car
as the McLarens and Lotuses were consistently quicker and even the Wolff at times being faster
It really did sound good ye
Niki should've won the 1976 season. He was absolutely dominating the season before his horrific crash at the German grand prix
should be a 4x world champion
probably not
even Lauda himself said he regretted leaving Ferrari
but the actions that Ferrari imposed after Laudas incident were the reason he left
not to mention they replaced Regazzoni in '77 with Reutemann
who was Laudas temporary replacement
and they replaced Regazzoni just because they were mad at Lauda
and Lauda and Reutemann never got along with each other that well
all because Lauda did not want to die in the season finale at Fuji in the '76 season
yeah
if it has an MTV
then its Simtek i guess
not to mention
the logo on the bottom of the nose
yes that looks to be the 94 model
I thought so
actually no, it's the 95
forgot it's with Pacific that the Lotus peeps went, not with Simtek
I have quite an interesting theory
what if Williams went with the raised nose design that Benetton had in 1994
would it have prevented Sennas death
could be, problem is just that the aero was (at first) too similar to the 93 aero, but without the aids to make it stable enough
Jim Clark's Lotus
F21 oynayan Türk var mıdır acaba?
No the floor touched the ground, not the front wing

stirling moss - 1955 british gp
Ooooo, tasteful
Why did they have an open wheel W196 aswell?
Surely the streamliner is better in every department.
if your talking about the bottoming out theory
that has been pretty much almost if not already debunked
what im talking about is that the aerodynamic issues of the FW16 were caused by a bunch of problems that could have led to Sennas decision to extend the steering column and causing his death
like how the FW16 was for the most part just a slightly enhanced FW15 without technological aids
if they had reworked the aero properly through some options like using the raised nose instead of the sloped nose that they had been using since 1991 it could have solved or lessened the instability problems that the FW16 suffered
but thats just my theory
Modified 96’ Williams FW18 with narrow suspension and grooved tires
Barelcona Test
DC still with the squarest face you can find
lower drag also means less grip
Not many people know about this but apparently Ferrari had a secret F1 car with a high nose design that was ultimately rejected in favor of John Barnard's 641 design, which supposedly inspired the high nose of the 1990 Tyrell since I believe some of the Ferrari engineers had left for Tyrell
Lol yeah
quite ironic that Alesi moved from Tyrrell to Ferrari
and still sad considering he could have moved to Williams
Alesi would’ve done more than what Patrese could’ve achieved during his time with the team. (No offense to Patrese of course.)
yes Jean Claude Migeot was at Ferrari and left alongside Harvey Postlethwaite for Tyrrell.
Barnard brought in the sequential gearbox tho, imagine if they had that high nose as well
Ye I still believe in the safety car cooling down the tyres and making them shrink just enough for the car to be upset by it, but the steering column did also break so it's like a mixed bag for me lol
the reason the cool tires and bottomed out theory is basically debunked is because the crash should have happened the lap prior then as the tires were cooler and the circumstances were higher for the car to bottom out and crash over Tamburello, second as Ive analyzed the onboard probably a hundred times at this point it is evident you never see the tires move at all in any direction, and the counter-steer theory is already debunked when you see he does not steer right erratically at all, and also the erratic movement of the steering wheel going downwards to the point you dont even see it in the point of view anymore and with Williams' counter-argument saying that such movement is normal, you never see any of that erratic movement on either Williams car before during or after Imola, and having such movement to the steering wheel is nearly if not a fatal feature to have as it limits steering

That's gorgeous, what?
Yeah it looks Beautiful
Can you notice the grooved tires?
It’s pretty hard for me to see them
Naaah they're fairly easily... I think the tippy bit is that for 98 the fronts had 3 grooves
Rather than all 4 having 4 from 1999 onward
Just finished now, watching all F1 France races from 1990 (full lenght, both magny course and paul ricard)
Italian SKY Sport F1, esclusive
Lotus 63 maybe??? Not really sure
How’s there a Lotus 63 and a 49 on the same grid
How Mirage prolly died in Transformers 1986.
just imagine if they had an F1 car Transformer
that would be a pretty interesting idea
Now to bring up that customer 1986-1988 BMW's were branded Megatrons
oh ive seen one of those but just assumed it was some wacky indycar toy or something
... Transformers are Whacky toys
Also that second gen is very much an IndyCar basis
Vry Lola T92/00
yeah and the really good ones cost quite a penny
with the humongous sidepods and that rear wing
That's like if a 1990-1992 Lola had a modern day floor width and a Coyote Rear Wing
All ik is that it’s a Brabham
There was a while where Brabham used the british racing green along yellow instead of gold before using the full white livery that would lead to the martini livery
Why? Tbh idk but yeah, it looked like the lotus before they introduced commercial sponsors
Just for Arrows and I think Ligier in 1987. Ik in 1986 Benetton and Brabham still had the BMW logos
nope they just really liked green and yellow
they also used similar colors in their title years
but with a clear distinction between the Lotus colors
ive spent months trying to find one of those collecter series hot wheels that i can afford

Does anyone have that pic of senna v Prost in 88 89 and their head to head scores?
Anybody know this F1 car?
Is this if all races points were counted?
Surtees TS19
Could someone remind on how the 83 Brabham was illegal?
fuel had above limit octane levels
and some stuff in it to reduce knock iirc, but i don't think that was illegal
it was basically super high tech fuel
Y no protest?
there were protests from Renault but they led to nothing
Thanks
This is for total points from 88 and 89 combined
I believe
Looks like the points if they counted all races
Yeah
Yes that’s what I mean
Lol
Nice
👀
Senna had more accidents then Prost
4X
wow
I kinda expected Senna to have more wet wins than Prost
Prost got very cautious in the rain in his latter career
Didn't he have a big crash in the rain?
He withdrew from the 1989 Australian GP while Senna crashed into Martin Brundle
Pironi crahed into him in the rain, ending his f1 career
So the BRM H16 used in the 66 Lotus is the biggest F1 engine ever made?
there were 4.5L engines in 1950-1951
Is that Binotto in the top left?
yes
Imola, 1996. The F1 testing was suspended by the rain and Michael Schumacher decided to pass the time by playing football with his crew. Mattia Binotto, who recently joined Ferrari, played on his side against the Ferrari mechanics and Marelli guys.

The BRM H16 was only 3L
and it was one unreliable hell of a gas guzzling time bomb
As if that was up for debate
their mistake was going for an engine that was bigger than a V12
but sometimes I forget that Jackie and Graham were teammates in Jackies early years before going to Matra
It was less that and more like Oh THEY DIDN'T TELL US THE RULES CHANGED WHAT DO WE DO
hey, wait wait. we have a v8 of 1.5L
new regs say max 3L
what if we put 2 of our current engines next to each other?? it would work right??

Ferrari taking notes as we speak
ive been making a list of the first and last time every number was used. im having trouble finding a few cars
#35 Maserati driven by Eitel Cantoni at the 1952 British GP
#43 Tyrrell Ford driven by Mike Thackwell at the 1980 USA West GP
if anyone knows how to find them or has pictures of them it would be cool if you could let me know

"It's a Ferrari!"
"It's a shitbox!"
it was this early version of the 1974 Ferrari that Lauda called a shitbox
looks like a bathtub on wheels
yes, or a late 1973 rather. check their standings that season to understand why
It was the Ferrari 312T no?
312T
312B3-74
the -74 is important
the original 1973 B3 looks like this and was woeful. Ickx refused to do some races because of how bad it was, and left Ferrari after the season for Lotus
maybe they didn't take some, or they weren't published
they tried everything
lol if it was there then it has to be on the internet
oh yeah
Would this be it?
it says it#s the 312T, that's the one you want?
I can find pictures of the 312B3-73 but nothing on the 74 model.
