Then you need to change your driving proficiency, which you cannot do while you are in a session, so you must be in either the main menu of the game, or the career mode menu. In which case you just press Y or Triangle, or whatever bind it is on your wheel and change it to either standard or expert, then edit the settings from there on.

I’d recommend learning manual gears first and once you feel confident with it you can turn abs off, but I don’t think it really is a big difference having abs on or off

I went right into the deep end and tried going manual for the first time and went on some Imola TT and posted a time of a 1.17.064. Does this sit alright for me just getting used to wheel or am I way off? I honestly only got 4 laps done because I kept spinning or invalidating 😓 hopefully I’ll get there.

They havent, theyve been complaining that the AI is much better but thats no reason to complain and that the AI are dangerous which does need fixed. You just need to get better exits or turn your AI down if your struggling to overtake a williams.

Thats not what people mean by get a better exit, it means your turning to narrow or braking too late, if you do either of those you will always gain a tenth or 2 but you will get fucked on the straights as you didnt get a good exit

I was having such a difficult time keeping up on the straights with a custom setup and when I used a balanced 0-0, it was way easier to keep up

It's based on the time YOU did in the 3 sectors... However during your fastest lap, all 3 sectors were your fastest, so the theoretical fastest lap of the session is the time you set
