well it depends on your internet speed

Best thing to do is play quite a few mini races of 5 laps and get used to the cars and also there’s a lot of assists to help if it’s your first time playing the game but for ai I would recommend starting at 10-20 get accustomed to the ai behaviour and if you can beat them at that level then bump it by 5-10 until you get comfortable with the ai hope this helps
