in the games however, you would go up to 4th, or 5th gear

that decreases wheel spin significantly on exit and allows you to run higher throttle input

it's something you need to feel out

for controller, having vibration on is crucial for feeling the car on throttle and in the braking zones, similar to how force feedback is needed for a wheel
