I've just finished the 2nd season US GP.

And it was an intense race.

It all began with Norris having his 3rd engine failure after 2nd season Bahrain and Imola.

Then Gasly damaged his front wing whilst being lapped from me.

Then Leclerc spun for the 4th time after 1st season Belgium and Singapore and 2nd season Russia.

Then Bottas damaged his front wing at the same spot Gasly did already.

Oh, before Ocon damaged his front wing already.

But Alpine decided to change the front wing 6 laps later for whatever reason.

Then Pérez damaged his front wing.

Then Stroll got a 5 second time penalty for ignoring blue flags.

It took a whole lap until he finally let past me.

And then Shwartzman damaged his front wing with a questionable divebomb right after being lapped for the 2nd time already.

That was then the race result in the end.

And that's now the championship standings.

In the dry my pace wasn't really great so the rain really helped me out.

Especially the esses are so much better to drive in the rain.

It was a really chaotic raace in terms of weather.

At the beginning it was dry, I had no chance gaining positions, so I was stuck in 6th where I started.

Then the rain began, on the Inters my pace became better, I overtook Pérez and Ricciardo in the pits already.😂

Then I did a very nice and clean dive into the 1st corner to overtake Lando, then a few laps later his engine failed so I was up in 2nd.

Then the rain became heavier and it was time to pit for full wets.

My pace became even better.

Then after being right behind Bottas at the beginning of the long straight, I passed him into the breaking zone for turn 12 round the outside.

From that on I built a lead.

Then the rain ended, so it was 1st time to pit for Inters again and then 20 laps before the end of the race back on Softs again.

Then Bottas closed the gap, but hit my front right tire in the last corner of the esses and damaged his front wing, so I won the race in the end.

But it wasn't enough for the rivalry against Bottas, the 1st time I lost a rivalry so far.

But I extended my championship lead with Bottas finishing only 3rd and Norris even scored 0 points with his engine failure.

So I've now a 36 points lead to Bottas, so I'm now safe for an engine failure for myself.
