I've just finished the 2nd season Japanese GP.

And it was a surprisingly good race.

It began with Stroll spinning for the 5th time already after 1st season Austria and Brazil and 2nd season Portimao and Monza.

And Latifi hitting him, damaging Latifi's front wing.

That caused a Safety Car.

And then Ricciardo and Ilott came together after the Safety Car restart, nearly spinning Ricciardo around.

That was then the race result in the end.

And that's now the championship standings.

It was quite tough at the beginning, starting only from 15th after a very bad Q3 and a grid penalty for a new gearbox.

In the 1st stint I managed to fight through the field up to 9th.

Then Ferrari made a very weird 2 stop strategy.

So I gained another 2 positions.

Then the Safety Car fucked up both Mercedes completely.

They were the only ones to start on Mediums.

Hamilton pitted at the same time for Softs the others pitted for Mediums.

So he was on a weird 2 stop as well.

Mercedes failed to put him on Mediums again under the SC to finish the race.

Bottas had to hit for Hards because it was too early for Softs.

That made it easy for me to pass Bottas and somehow I had a much better pace on the Mediums.

Then I was even able to fight my way through to 3rd.

Then in lap 48/53 Jeff told me there's a problem with the car.

Thankfully it was "only" an engine issue and not a failure.

So I had to drive a whole lap in lean fuel mix.

Then the hunt for Lando was over.

And Pérez closed the before built gap down again.

from round about 3 seconds to 7 tenths in the end

And Max secured the 1st win of the season for Red Bull.

They finally developed the car again and closed the gap to McLaren so Max was able to fight for the win again but only because Mercedes failed again.
