we as humans we arent designed to play games for long periods of time we werent even designed to play games
we are designed to go out into the world and get beat up and get hurt and become stronger from it
if you confine yourself for hours on end to a box with a monitor where everything you do is virtual and you never meet new people that has serious implications for the real world, you become really anti social, develop eye problems, develop back problems, your immune system is weaker because your not exposed to the outside world as much. you dont develop emotionally either, everything you see and do is virtual

with the sacrifices you have to make your practically not living a life anymore

id have absolutely no problem with someone putting that effort in as long as he can balance it with personal fitness and wellbeing + school

but you cant make that balance
