And Bottas had a 10 place grid penalty and Hamilton did a completely stupid 2 stop, 3 Inters instead of 2. Sainz was the only driver who did this 2 stop as well, the rest all 1 stop.
So Mercedes took themselves out of the top positions again.

That was in F1 2017, and my 2 Suzuka races in F1 2018, the 2 in F1 2019 and the race in F1 2020 were all just bad, I was never fighting for the win again, there wasn't even 1 clean race.
It is really like a trauma.
In the last Suzuka weekend, I couldn't even manage to reach Q2.
I gained 1 second to the lap before, but then spun in the last corner and throw all the time away, driving backwards over the line with 3 tenths slower than the lap before, P16, Ocon was then faster than me, he was P16, I'm P17.
Thrown out of Q2 by my own teammate, but he deserved it more tbh.
My worst race in Suzuka was 2nd season of my 2019 career with a completely dominating Ferrari. I felt every time bad there, but never so bad like then, I first thought with such a dominant car it should finally be possible to win there, but it wasn't.
I was always nearly lost the car in the middle of the esses, turn 3, I had never problems there, even not in first season with the Haas. But with the Ferrari I had this problems, I had a 10 place grid penalty, I think it was because of gearbox change, so I started from 11th or maybe 10th or 9th, I first overtook a few cars but then came lap 3 I tried to overtake Verstappen's Renault into the 130R, it worked but directly in front of him was Leclerc's Red Bull and I was just send it and it went wrong.
I hit Leclerc, spun around, Verstappen stopped directly in front of my tire, than came the other Renault of Vettel crashing into the back of Verstappen, Verstappen than smashed into me, we were both out, Vettel only lost his front wing, Sainz' Haas was standing as well and was hit in the back by Bottas, Sainz was out as well, race was over.
Thankfully my teammate K-Mag won the race.
I won all races in this season instead of this one.

After that I turned the AI up from 80 to 90 and changed team to Red Bull.
