Seems that the very first time this was added/prepared was August 1st, 2019 - when the "access for development" was added.

Proper development seems to have started around 29th June, 2020 - just before release of F1 2020.

It’s not hard to build some ai like fifa that throws lines of dialogue together e.g If you overtook Ricciardo have it say something like “Great overtake there on Ricciardo” commentary isn’t too difficult but with the complex nature of the events of the sport it’s just the amount of lines you’d have to do

Like, F1 2016 Mobile has a championship season mode, quick race, race weekend, time trial, custom championship, and just like, why can't they either add something like this instead of the current single player mode or just make another game

ai just turn into you when you try to overtake and give you a collision warning, backmarkers dont move to the side early enough when you try to lap them, instead just pull over in the middle of a corner, which I find annoying because I want to go around the outside of them
