Just want to add my two cents about EA joining forces with Codemasters. I can honestly only see this being a good thing for Codemasters and the F1 game series. Just due to the fact that EA have been quite clear with saying Codemasters will remain an independent studio and will be allowed to do what they want with the backing from EA. In what sense they will get backing I do not know, but one could guess through money. And in that case, it is only a positive thing for the whole series - and any other Codemasters game.

Codemasters getting additional funding from EA could be groundbreaking in terms of improving tracks when it comes down to maybe laser scanning them or whatever, because as I have understood it - time and money has been the biggest limiting factor in them not having laser scanned tracks and such yet.

Why not Livery Editor as in. You get a huge ton of sponsors (1000+ Selection filled with real sponsors or fake sponsors depending on licensing). You will be able to move the sponsors everywhere on the car you like to, not just fixed sponsor presets like in MyTeam
