He went P2 in Jeddah and Australia to start the season, then won back to back races in China and Miami. Imola was a bit of an off race for Lando, where he was involved in a fight for the podium, incurred very subtle damages and fell away to P6. Then he took P2 in Monaco, won in Spain and took another P2 in Canada. Austria looked to be another bogey for Lando as he qualified 7th and finished the Sprint in 7th, however through a chaotic race (1 red flag, 2 safety cars, and rain) finished P2. Then Silverstone, another sorta chaotic race (but with only one real flashpoint this time), Lando qualified P4, dropped on the grid to 9th, but made it back to P3, behind both of our team, as a Safety Car came out mid-race for Charles and Oscar's crash

In this save though my team used to be a very dominant force

I've driven as three different characters over the course of the save

Eliane Palmisano, a Brazilian who had a standout rookie championship season with 12 consecutive wins, who went on to score 4 titles in 5 seasons in the sport before retiring in 2027

Lina Manz, the replacement who had a difficult 2028, but fought to the title by 2 points ahead of her teammate Verstappen when the car came good at the end, but could not replicate that success in 2029 or 2030

And Dewi Löwe, who subbed in because Manz had a race ban in Belgium 2030, took the maximum possible points, and got signed for 2031, and has had a couple standout drives already i.e. taking soft tyres 16 laps (of 25) in Canada before an unfortunate engine failure, and a fightback from a full engine penalty and 22nd on the grid to victory in Austria

The team have won 7 of the 8 constructors' Championships in this save

The team lineup was Palmisano and Iwasa to start 2023, but Iwasa got dropped for Gasly mid-season, who went on an insane run from having 6 points midseason to P2 in the title, and stayed on through 2024 and 2025, winning the 2024 title by 11 points in the process

When Gasly decided to leave after 2025, we signed Verstappen from Ferrari, and Gasly went the other way

Verstappen stayed with us from 2026 to 2029, infuriatingly lost two consecutive close battles for the title in the process, tied on points with Palmisano at the end of 2027, and 2 points behind Manz in 2028, and was looking to be the lead Zwaansport driver in 2029, but Manz put on a charge late season and finished ahead, which made him leave for McLaren, as we signed Piastri

The 2025 season saw Hamilton's retirement, which led to Leclerc replacing him at Red Bull, Stroll going back to Aston, and Pourchaire getting another drive at Williams.

No mid-season transfers in S3 so we go to S4, 2026, where my team struck a deal with Ferrari to trade Gasly for Verstappen, Sargeant got dropped from Ferrari after only scoring 1 point in 2 seasons with them, Leclerc went back to Ferrari, Pourchaire took Leclerc's seat at Red Bull which allowed Sargeant to slot in at Williams, meanwhile Sauber became Audi but retained their lineup of Hulkenberg and Zhou.

For 2027, Hulkenberg retired, Pourchaire joined Audi, Leclerc went back to Red Bull, Sainz left Aston Martin to rejoin Ferrari, Albon replaced Sainz which led to Stroll going to VCARB, allowing Magnussen to join Aston Martin, and Felipe Drugovich to debut with Haas.

Sainz' decision to return to Ferrari would be painful. Sainz and Gasly combined for 60 points on the season, and Ferrari were 8th in the title.

Ferrari had already had some difficult times in the save, being 5th in 2024, and 6th in 2025 and 2026.

But in the season, VCARB who had become firm backmarkers at this point (far fall from Albon getting a podium for them in Canada 2025) actually went through a Force India 2018 esque situation, where they were acquired midseason by Škoda (for some reason) who brought themselves into F1.. they'd inherited a backmarker though so the Škoda Racing Bulls team as they were for the 2nd half of 2027 were last, the only scoreless team. VCARB also scored nothing but they got excluded from the constructors' title.

Palmisano retired ahead of 2028, and Zwaansport (my team) replaced her with one of their own test and reserve drivers Lina Manz. Everything else stayed the same, except Williams underwent their rebrand that they had irl for 2026, and Škoda properly entered F1. They scored 6 points and finished last though.

Ferrari had a bounce back season, retaining their lineup and taking it to a P6 in the title and 209 points.

Pérez retired after 2028, was replaced by Gasly at Red Bull for 2029, leading Ferrari to sign Albon to partner Sainz, and Aston Martin brought in a rookie Dennis Hauger (who won on debut but got dropped mid-season)

Also Bottas retired at the same time after 2028 which led to Sargeant joining McLaren, and Williams bringing in a rookie Jack Doohan.

Hauger being replaced by Vesti at Aston Martin was the only 2029 mid-season change.

For 2030, Verstappen left Zwaansport and joined McLaren, with Piastri going the other way. Elsewhere, Kevin Magnussen retired, and Aston Martin brought in another rookie in the form of Jüri Vips. But they also dropped Vesti and replaced him with Ayumu Iwasa (who would go on to win the title), so Hauger replaced Iwasa to return to the grid at Haas. Also Alpine became Renault again but retained Ocon and Ricciardo.

And finally for 2031, Manz was demoted back to test/reserve driver for Zwaansport, with Löwe promoted to the seat, as Aston Martin dropped Vips for yet another rookie, Calan Williams.

Piastri made contact with Löwe's rear right tyre which caused Löwe to spin off back into the path of Piastri, which took Oscar's wing off, led Leclerc to hit Piastri as well, all three of them having 5 second penalties and needing to pit for damages, and an immediate VSC. Only Löwe seemed to have lasting floor damages that harmed performance significantly.

Mercedes got into 2 and 3 very quickly and began chasing Lawson, but they just couldn't catch him.

There was rain, first drops came towards the end of lap 14, and by the time they were halfway around lap 15, DRS was disabled and the track was quite wet, so every single car pits. Russell retired with an engine failure, leaving only Norris as Mercedes' hopes to catch Liam Lawson. But he couldn't. Lawson wins by 5.1 seconds.

Yeah, at this stage, the F1 license should really go to a different developer. EA SPORTS just refuse to listen to community feedback and do their own thing, and this is what makes all their F1 games worse and worse.

I can only emphasize again and again, the only good F1 game that EA SPORTS developed was F1 24. The rest is absolute trash.

Dropped mid-season for Vesti, who scored a few good finishes including a couple podiums

Vips then got dropped for Calan Williams into season 9, who won 2 races of 11 and sat 4th in the title after those 11 races.

...only to still be dropped for Richard Verschoor mid-season.

I've only seen it one time that Lance Stroll of all drivers goes to a high tier team, and that was in F1 2021, in a German YouTuber's My Team career, where Stroll joined Red Bull after Pérez retired.

This is normally a highly unlikely chance that Stroll joins a top team. If anything, he usually joins a weaker team.

Well, seems like I'm the lucky guy that somehow helped Logan Sargeant get to Mercedes inside my F1 24 My Team career.

For context, in Season 1, I had Victor Martins as my teammate who was pretty bad, then I got Logan Sargeant for the second half, and he got 4th place in Monza by complete dumb luck, and those were his most points he ever scored.

Then for Season 2, I had enough money to go for Lewis Hamilton. Mercedes then signed Theo Pourchaire, who was pretty decent, but then, halfway through Season 2, Pourchaire was replaced with Logan Sargeant, who was driving for Haas after Magnussen retired at the end of Season 1.

Some drivers actually require a certain team acclaim and certain facility specs to start talks. Not to mention the cost for signing them since you need to pay a buyout fee on top of the base market value.

Lemme explain probably the greatest pair of transfer windows i had in the save

It was S1, my team were the best team on the grid, and we dropped Iwasa for Pierre Gasly mid season.
Bottas went to Alpine, Ricciardo went to Alfa Romeo, Albon went to AlphaTauri, and Lawson made his debut at Williams.

Then into S2, Alonso retired, Sainz went to Aston Martin, Sargeant went to Ferrari, Stroll went to Williams, Leclerc went to Aston Martin, Verstappen went to Ferrari, Hamilton went to Red Bull, Norris went to Mercedes and Pourchaire made his debut at McLaren, meanwhile Ricciardo went to Alpine, Bottas went to Haas and Hulkenberg went to Alfa Romeo (which canonically became Sauber)

(Pourchaire would be dropped mid-S2 for Bottas, and Iwasa found his way back onto the grid with Haas)

This was an interesting race. Very much split in two halves. First 9 laps, Iwasa took the lead instantly and held firm in P1 by about 2 seconds until the pit stops, Löwe in P2, and the two of them having a large gap to a battle between Verstappen, Leclerc, Sargeant and even Russell. But, Iwasa had an engine failure very shortly after exiting the pit lane just ahead of Lando Norris. Lando hit the back of Iwasa, was taken out of the race and the red flag was thrown.

On the restart, Löwe started on softs (only one in the top 10 to do so) and took the lead by turn 1 with a RAPID start from all the way in 9th. Cue epic battle between Logan Sargeant, Richard Verschoor and Pierre Gasly, that ended with Sargeant 2 seconds ahead of Verschoor, but 4 seconds behind Löwe, and Gasly locking up at Parabolica on lap 18 of 19 which dropped him all the way to 7th from what could've been 2nd. Huge gains for Löwe and Zwaansport as a whole, with Norris out and Russell only 8th.

The gap to P2 comes down from 122 to 109. Definitely still difficult, but not quite impossible. Everyone up to Gasly (plus Calan Williams due to being dropped) is eliminated from contention for the championship now.

It has taken 15 rounds, but Red Bull finally move into the top 5 of the championship. The gap between Mercedes and Zwaansport comes down to 56. The WCC is still open for the taking by the Dutch outfit.

He’s exactly where he’s meant to be, off line. POV car shouldn’t be attempting an overtake when there’s a slow car on an inlap/outlap way off the racing line and visible for miles back. And then simply avoiding him on the left instead of turning straight int the redbull (or yk, braking) would’ve left everyone with 0 contact

The AI is usually stupid, yes, but it’s perfectly reasonable to be driving slowly when off the racing line, in order to let you and the redbull through before the braking point so that he doesn’t impede you two. You should’ve never tried to send it down the inside into that corner when both you and Verstappen are on a flying lap, that would never end well, and once you saw Norris as you passed the kink, you should’ve slowed down and got behind Verstappen, or just overtake Norris on the left

unfortunately valteri decided to go for a risky overtake on piastri, and crashed into piastri.

Piastri DNF'd from the race, and valteri finished in p7. its unfortunate considering we had a good race with only 5 laps left
