i won the opening race of the 2031 season in jeddah in my f1 23 my team career (81% ai, some assists on [dont come at me I play for fun])

the driver i'm racing as in 2031, another created character named dewi löwe (welsh born to a welsh parent and a german parent), made his debut as a stand-in for manz (the last one i played as) because she'd got a race ban for accelerating in the middle of turn 1 at Hungary (plus being sorta reckless at the end of the race in france the race prior which sent both mercedes to the back along with herself) and got a maximum 33 points in spa after barely missing out on pole to eventual champion ayumu iwasa (it was canonically one of löwe's strongest tracks before f1 having got a lot of experience there (and is a strong track for me as a player))

and opened up his first full season with a pole to win conversion in jeddah, having to fight off Lando Norris () and Logan Sargeant () to do so

quick update, so i was getting crashes on game startup quite frequently and sometimes video tdr failure bsod, but after some tweaks i was able to fix them (im pretty sure and i gope that thyere gone), and get a respectable looking gane at a stable 60, now with balanced anti aliasing instead of performance as well

and the game also just feels amazing now that im used to it, way better than 2020, graphics as well just so good, worth every penny imo

Silverstone quali was a dominant showing for my team (Zwaansport) with back to back front row lockouts, though this is the first one that will see us actually start 1-2 for the GP.

First 1-2 finish since Sao Paulo 2028, two and a half seasons ago. Wire to wire victory for Löwe, while Piastri fell to 4th off the start, got back to 3rd, got hit by Leclerc while fighting for P2, which brought out a mid-race safety car and dropped him back to P4, then he passed Norris and Sainz to get back to P2.

Lando Norris' lead comes down to 79, but now Piastri and Löwe are 2 and 3 in the title. Russell still struggling to make things work in equal machinery to Lando.
