• Lap 5 there was a SC because Sargeant crashed into a retiring Verstappen
• A lot of the leaders didn't pit until the restart lap which dropped them down heavily (and Leclerc/Gasly didn't pit until the scheduled window so they dropped too)
• order was really shuffled
• red flag on lap 15 because zhou spun at the end of the lap
• Bottas had a bad restart while Ricciardo and Magnussen had a good one, Kevin eventually getting P2.

Lap 14: 3 wide battle on the main straight towards Tamburello for 10th/11th/12th. Albon on the left, Gasly in the middle, Ocon on the right. At the same time, Leclerc who was the last to pit comes out of the pits, driving slowly. Ocon slams into the rear end of Leclerc, shreds his suspension and goes airborne and into the wall, immediately out and causing a SC, and Leclerc gets a 5s penalty.

If the pedals connect to the wheelbase. Yes. If they’re seperate tho they should work fine with a different brand. The G923 for example has the pedals connect to the wheel so the pedals wouldn’t work alone. However the wheel should work alone and you can get seperate pedals that don’t connect to the wheel. I for example once had a Driving Force GT Wheel and Fanatec pedals and they worked flawlessly

Controller is definitely doable with practice, just takes some getting used to

Though so does the wheel, so it's really not any different

before i figured out a way to play on my wheel i was at about 94% ai with controller, now back on wheel im at 100-107 and most of my pace has just been from being a better driver and not the difference from wheel to controller, its only a bit after 110 ai where the difference shows

if i spent more time on controller like i played everyday on controller for like 30 days i would for sure get faster but theres no point since other than career modes i dont really have much interest in the game now

My original impression so far is that turning on the controller is a little "easier" or at least takes less practice to get used to for each track. Also, braking is a little easier too, I've been braking not enough on the sim so far. However, I do like how I can ease into the throttle more on the wheel. I am still spinning out, but it feels easier to just lightly throttle on this than on the controller

It takes practice. I did the challenge to get the Haas livery like 1000 times and finally passed it but I always lost time in that section

The thing I struggle with online is I usually need a couple practice laps to get the track figured out, but most of the matches are just a quick qualifying and the race. So like I'm jumping right into it, and I struggle the first couple laps

But, just made a .5 second improvement on my previous best (on controller) on the Austria track. Really starting to get a nice hang of this wheel setup.

Wooo P10 is one of my first online races. My fastest lap was not very good! But half my laps I was racing side by side with someone and spinned almost at least once a lap

By the time I found my groove, I was on “older” medium tires. Wish I could have gotten a good lap on the softs

Online play is such chaos 😆

Got P4 in a race and I think there were 16 DNFs 😂 some unranked races, man. By the end, some cars were sitting back waiting for others and then slamming into them. Like what even is the point 😂
