hm its very hard to tell
but the sudden slow down happened immediately before it switched to "prepare to resume racing" so i think the race leader was slowing for the delta there (its automatic for the race leader)

and just for good measure i also took half of maggotts/becketts flat as well

Nobody is good right away. But i recommend turning off break, ers and steering assist (not abs tho for now) they make you much slower. Then its just really playing for a while and gradually decrease assists
racing line you only need corners
on wheel its easier to play without traction control and abs
with some time thatll reduce
on controller it obviously is harder. I know since i Play on both
i hope this helps you but either way over time you will get better
no problem
also dont always fully steer with the stick if youre on controller. Learn to only slightky turn the stick

and then for good measure also tool the first half of maggotts/becketts flat as well (bad idea cuz it turned becketts into a bigger brake zone)
