Carlos Sainz has seemed to be an increasing liability to the Sunburst team, with signs of inconsistency showing ever since Portugal last year.

He has five top 5 finishes from 10 races in 2031, however his other 5 races are not points scoring, and three of them are 17th or below, which are positions that the team have stated 'should not be brought in multiple times within a five race span' from a 'top team' such as themselves.
