I have made a return to f1 2021 because I far prefer the handling model. I just finished round 9 at Zandvoort. Heres a run down of the season so far.
🇧🇭 - Absolute chaos unfolded. I started 12th with Gasly starting 9th, an early safety car meant us on the one stop had the lead. It was vettel p1 and me p2. A second safety car followed by 2 retirements for both Perez and Vettel meant I had the lead. Coming in to the final corner Alonso dived from 5th to 2nd and came across the line 0.055 seconds behind me. And we won our debut Race for Alpha tauri
🇮🇹 Emilia Romanga - Very uneventful, 7th for Gasly, 8th for me
🇵🇹 - Unneventful race again, Gasly came home 9th and i crashed out from 12th on the 5th to last lap
🇨🇦 - A brilliant recovery from me after qualifying 20th due to spinning on my 2nd run in qualifying. I had a better strategy and undercut many cars to cut my way to 7th, gasly just ahead in 5th
🇫🇷 - We are now somehoe the 3rd fastest car on the grid. Almost dead equal with ferrari and Mclaren. A rather uneventful race leads to us running 5th and 6th. I retire with an engine failure on the second to last lap
🇦🇹 - I had my best qualifying result of 3rd. And after rain plaugued the entire race I eventually finished 4th with gasly close behind in 5th
🇬🇧 - A Rather chaotic british grand prix filled with fantastic battles up and down the field. Hamilton won his home grand prix in a mercedes 1-2. Gasly finished 5th, with me in 7th. The highlight of the race was mick schumacher pulling a haas from 18th to 8th by the checkered flag
🇧🇪 - Unneventful, rained the whole time. Gasly 4th, me 7th
🇳🇱 - Started off dry and transitioned to rain towards the end of the race. 5th for me, 7th for Gasly
