You know, I noticed this playing F1 23 last year. It seems like the AI teammates doesn't get the "upgraded" cars until the British GP. Every single career mode I did, MyTeam and Drivers with McLaren, Aston and AlphaTauri, my teammates didn't have the pace the upgraded cars should have gotten thanks to the upgraded I've purchased and ended up failing to score decent points up until the British GP.
