Basically some rich lad from Tel Aviv-Yaifo fell in love with race cars, he started as “Cohen Motorsports” and worked together with Porsche for his race team “Cohen Motorsports Porsche GT3” in the Pirelli Endurance Challenge. After a fall out with Porsche about the price of the Porsche’s he went on to build his own sports car, the “IsrFast FastOne” while it didn’t sell well on the Israeli market it was a hit success in the Asia Endurance Challenge winning 2 races. The FastOne was heavily inspired by the R8 and looked quite similar, at one point IsrFast joined open wheel racing rivalling Tatuus with the IsrFast Fast4 car which was the name of their F4 car. Only 2 teams would eventually sign with IsrFast for the Fast4, the Fast4 flopped and was dropped in late 2019. After a 3 year hiatus IsrFast announced their plans to join F1 under the company’s name, at the end of 2023 they officially announced the IsrFast Fast11
