What’s the thoughts on F1 Manager 24 so far from what we know?
I’m massively impressed. Quite a few new features revealed, and they slashed the pricetag in half.

All 3 new features sound very nice.
From what they've shown, I'm very excited. If they slightly improve how the cars react to one another on track, and make the lines they take slightly less robotic, it will be great.
The tyre/push mode system they implemented in 1.10 (I think) really helped out the game massively in terms of how strategy is handled. If they can also improve the AI's handling of development, then this will be a fantastic entry I think, and hopefully one that will be enough to renew their contrack, because I like F1 Manager games significantly more than the Codemaster's entries.

Although Sauber has the 2nd quickest car on paper, they have the worst drivers on the grid in Bearman and Lawson, both around 81 overall and have horrible control stats, so they always end up in the walls.

The strategy is to start at Alfa Romeo, Sign Alonso to pair Bottas, then focus research heavily in season 1, and just try not to get fired.
Then by season 2 you'll come out with a dominant car and win quite easily.

I wish it was easier to develop younger drivers. I feel like having some sort of development multiplier during rookie years (like a 1.5x or even a 2x multiplier to XP gained) would be beneficial.

Which style of race management did you prefer, F1M 22 or F1M 23? I found F1M 22's to be much more realistic than this years, but I find F1M 23's to be quite a bit more fun, especially after patch 1.10. Before that it was just annoying, even more so before they added Hard Mode.

It was definitely too easy. If they had the AI that F1M 23 had for 22, then I think I'd much prefer that one's.
I like to run the game at high speeds, and crank through a few races in one sitting, and 22's system made it pretty easy to do that.
I don't mind the teams pushing hard in the early laps, since that's what the teams do in real life to gain positions when the field is all bunched up, but once lap 3 hits, most of them will back off for 10 or so laps then have a random 2 laps of going full attack for no reason and destroy their tyres.
Also early in F1M 23, do you remember the bug where the Alpines would always stay out super late on their tyres and just shred them to pieces before pitting way too late? I'm not sure if it was actually a bug or not, but it was very stupid.
