And it was again a 3 way fight for the lead.

But this time Charles could get past him.

Pérez lost a lot of time because of the crash and started on Hards as well and hasn't pitted under the SC.

So he had no chance to get Verstappen.

If you turn left then right too sharp, you lose the car

I've just finished the 1st season French GP.

It all began with Stroll and Oscar coming together, damaging Stroll's front wing.

Then Ricciardo and Alonso came together, damaging Ricciardo's front wing.

Then there was an issue with the rear right tire at Oscar's 1st pit stop.

Never seen someone next to me getting an engine failure.

Then Bottas smashed into Gasly.

And Gasly lost his front wing and got a 5 second time penalty for a severe collision with Bottas.

That brought out the Safety Car.

Then Tsunoda got a 5 second time penalty for overtaking Gasly under yellow flags.

Then I spun for the 3rd time after 1st season Great Britain and Austria.

Then after serving the 5 second time penalty there was an issue with the rear right tire at Tsunoda's 2nd and last pit stop.

And then Ricciardo and Alonso came together for a 2nd time, damaging Ricciardo's front wing for a 2nd time.

That was then the race result in the end.

The start was the worst one I've ever had, falling from 9th straight down to 16th.

But the pace in this race was amazingly good.

Overtakes are rare in that game, but in that one I did quite a lot.

At the end I was a bit lucky with Alonso having an engine issue and RB getting screwed over by the SC.

and of course Russell's engine failure

Because RB started on Medium and went on Mediums again.

Then the SC came out a few laps later.

They had to go to Softs like 10 laps before the end of the race, so Pérez felt down not only behind me, but even in the middle of the pack that got held up by the slow Alpine of Alonso.

One more laps and I would've finished only 7th.

This race reminded me once again why I love this track.

And for the 1st time since I've introduced the Driver of the Day Award, F1 2021 3rd season, I got voted as Driver of the Day.

Starting from 9th and finished 6th, doing 24 overtakes in total.
