Some because of bugs, but it was funny.

And AI smashing with full throttle into slow cars behind the SC because unlapping was possible.

And lapped cars causing crashes because they parked on the racing line.

And took either themselves or the leader out.

Or just all cars are ghosted into each other because of a SC bug.
