Essentially it's a money thing, but it does have some logic to it, too. The more cars and series you enter, the more chance of an incident (But at no point did he say IndyCar is more dangerous than F1, for anyone making that argument).

Where it falls down is that I imagine if it made great business sense and Haas really wanted to, then he'd still have sponsored Romain (or another driver) in IndyCar. But I don't feel that spending money on IndyCar after all the F1 cutbacks would have been a good look, either.

Definitely sensing some general Haas resentment too that isn't really about this specific situation. I think it was just a convenient way of opting against spending more money that he was never compelled to spend.

Haas F1 reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi will join Dale Coyne Racing in IndyCar to do the ovals.

Means they found a replacement for Romain Grosjean who will only do the street- and road courses.

Ogier's entire rally is a damage limitation as he's the 2nd car on the road tomorrow so he will not be gaining as much

Oliver Solberg's been doing extremely solid with his debut on a WRC car. Also with a 11th hour co driver replacement due to covid

Evans did really solid while being 2nd car on the road. Didn't lost as much time as people thought
