that's where it gets difficult.

When a road tyre says e.g. 191/55 that means the width (in mm) is 191 and the ratio between height and width is 55%, so in that example the sidewalls would be around 105mm heigh.

Now, if the tables above say the width in cm - which would seem plausible - then a tyre height of 71% of that seems excessive and judging from pictures of the hypercars, that can't be right. if the 71 just means the height in mm that would seem more plausible but then I have no idea why they'd put one dimension in cm and one in mm 😅

so the interior (rim) diameter is 18 inches which is 45.7cm; the outer diameter (tyre) is 71cm, so the sidewall height is the difference of that divided by 2 which gives us 12.7cm
