for LMH, manufacturers build a whole car (including engine) on their own. They can choose to run a hybrid powertrain or not.

LMDh is a standard chassis on which manufacturers put their own engine and bodywork. There's a mandatory standard hybrid system as well.

Yeah that’s an important part, I’m not too familiar with endurance racing so when I heard Porsche was an LMDh and the Peugeot was an LMH with a completely different and radical design I thought that Porsche could’ve done more to be competitive
