His stock might improve slightly by the fact that Colapinto, who was previously so highly rated, is a clear not improvement and if Briatore switches the drivers out again then it could well be that teams will look more kindly on Jack. Considering Ferrari and Haas have been able to make better work out of the same engine as Sauber, I don't really think we should really hype up Audi just for bringing a new engine

No, they've came very close in 2007 though, when they were partnered with BMW. Remember McLaren got disqualified because of Spygate, if it wasn't for that, McLaren would've finished 2nd in the Constructors and Sauber, 3rd.
