It’s a combination of multiple things. The RB20 being hard on tires due to Max having to overdrive just to make the car work as well as Norris having elite tire management compared to almost any of the top drivers on the grid. That’s why it seems like the car is crazy than actually it is

Sometime on reddit years ago, people were talking about how Zandvoort laid down their foundation compared to COTA, and since apparently Zandvoort also has soft ground that likes to move around a lot, they had to make the foundation go like 15 feet deeper than it normally would to cope with that
