Everyone always remembers the last race of the 6 lapped cars only being allowed to unlap themselves - which is weird. All lapped cars should have been allowed to unlap themselves but that will still have put max on fresh tyres behind Lewis.

Many decisions went against max that season. Seemingly whenever max gained position off track he was made to give position back to Lewis but Lewis was only ever made to reduce the lead not give back position.

People give max a lot of grief for that season but ultimately it was the FIA being inconsistent and at times incompetent that lead to so much drama.
