Nope, they kept a very consistent pace throughout their entire race run of a high 22 and a few very low 23's. Checo's long runs were doing mid-high 23's, but they may have been running higher fuel (or Checo is being checo).

The wave of new fans? I've been watching F1 for around 15 years now, and motorsports in general for even longer. I keep up with this stuff religiously across all forms of racing.

Is it justifiable? Yes, however it is in no way fair towards him and the team in general and is putting the entire weight of the team behind Albon's back to not make another mistake.

The only similar instance of this was with Webber and Vettel when Vettel destroyed the new front wing. Webber was forced to give his new wing. This is an entirely different scenario, where not only does he have to give up his parts, but he cannot compete in the event in general.

Not even mentioning the fact that you are putting a driver who did 4 laps in all of practice, one of which ended in destroying the car into rubble, behind the wheel of the second car. If there is another mistake, then Williams will likely be out of the next two rounds completely, and not just one car.

PURE NUMBERS are the name of the game and will always be. Albono vs Sargeant H2H, Albono comes ahead SIGNIFICANTLY. In fact, Albono went 23:0 against Sargeant last year.

Nah, I'm not doing just Sargeant's practices lol, I do every driver's/teams to do pace predictions for Saturday/Sunday. I just like to do them, I've done it for a while now.

Those teams are much closer on pace and head to head, although I'd defend it for Hulkenberg and Magnussen purely based on how steep that qualifying difference is
