Isn’t it incredible that his talent returned like his hairline after he left ferrari?
Being next to Stroll will do that for you yes
Stroll, leclerc, basically the same no? @thin berry
Clipping this for later
bird is on the list
you mean, hair wise? I gotta say, Lance has nice, shiny thick air
Carlos's hair for me is the most magnificent
wait I cannot unsee it now
Here's a fun offseason question: Let's say you are the President of the FIA, and you were given unlimited power to change the sport of Formula 1 as you see fit, what would you do?
Wanna hear some of my changes first?
1). No more DRS, the overtakes are artificial and literally make it almost impossible to defend for the defending driver, so replace it with a push to pass system
…which is not artificial??
Well at least with push to pass, it doesn't give the attacking car an unfair advantage
DRS only exists because the cars are too dogshit to race each other, if they could you wouldn't need it, or push to pass or attack mode or any other gimmick
IndyCar has it and they don't need it though
yup same with FE and attack mode
I'm saying Push to Pass would promote more wheel to wheel racing and drivers having to actually fight for positions
Right but I'm saying what you actually need to fix is the cars
because even with DRS they can't race
Which maybe lowering the downforce is a possible solution
overtakes are rare even with an unfair system designed to specifically make more overtakes happen
I mean I'd start with spec power units and making the cars smaller and slower
fuck em?
I mean do you really want to end up like CART did?
but like… who is going to leave F1 because you made it cheaper lmao
Fair
Schedule wise, a hard limit of no more than 22 GPs per year, and one round per country
Honestly I might even reduce it to 20
That means no more Miami, Las Vegas, or Imola
Tighten up the schedule
16 GPs
Oh yeah Imola can fuck off, worst track on the schedule fr
Any applicant countries must have popular support to host F1, can financially support a track, and can't have egregious human rights violations
Maybe the last one is idealistic
Of course
Good luck with that last one yeah
like seriously? is that seriously too much to ask for?
One little race in Germany?
Monza, Spa, UK, and Monaco are permanent races on the calendar
we have three in the states and about a thousand in the gulf but not a single one in Germany
it's mad
Untouchable
Interlagos and Suzuka deserve that more than Monaco I'm sorry 😭
Monaco was there on the original calendar
if the racing is bad at Monaco, it is the cars fault
So it stays
Monaco's been bad for racing for quite a while
Yes but it's Monaco
you design F1 cars to race well at Monaco in the same way you design Le Mans prototype regs to race well at la Sarthe, and IndyCars to race well at Indianapolis
I don't mind it being there but the cars were too big back in the 80s, if we're having staple tracks I'd like for some of them to be the homes of actual racing happening
or NASCAR at Daytona
if the cars cannot race at Monaco they shouldn't be in F1
Smaller cars
You'd need to make em 60s sized again
right but the 2009 to 2016 cars were way better than what we've had since
A venue that doesn't host any round of the championship
Sure, but again, Monaco itself has not been a good racetrack for those years either
A limit of no more than 25% street circuits
F1 issue, not a Monaco issue
If F1 cars suck at Monaco, change F1 cars
The schedule cap is for the teams mainlh
Why does Monaco need to be there though
Engines? That's where synthetic fuels come in.
oh oh yeah I'd kill the sprint races instantly
Plenty of old circuits have been abandoned etc etc
As would I
Practice is fine
Not this much
Testing should be reduced a bit
They don't need this much
Maybe one 60 minute practice
Monaco sticks around because it's rich and they have the money to keep the historic circuit there, I don't think the cars need to be made small enough to work at Monaco because they'd need to be laughably tiny
the history lmao
Again, cars were too big in the 80s
One 60 minute practice is fair, no?
And change the rules to where if a race makes it to halfway but can't continue, then award full points
To prevent a Spa 2021 debacle
So you 3 don't like formula 1
Got it
I do. There is zero wrong with improving the sport
oh god no
i don't watch this shit
it's awful
F1 could always be better
There is also nothing wrong with learning what other series do better
Let's also talk about the ticket prices for Vegas. I get it F1 is supposed to be premium, but for the sport to be sustainable in the US longterm, you can't solely cater to the very rich
Remember, this sport is in its infancy here basically
Nah I just don't really have interest in making cars work for Monaco when they haven't worked for like 40 years
I'm sorry but I genuinely believe the bear minimum for a racing series is that like… at least 5 cars should have a shot at winning the race, every race
You have to hit a pricing sweetspoy
in your opinion
And BOP is a terrible idea
duh
Nor do I
I think you need at least some level of free development, and i"d prefer if that was aero over power unit
Lmao
That is the sweetspot
I'd decrease hosting fees 100%
Like the fact that Nurb and Hock can't afford to host a race is silly
And we nearly lost Spa for the same reason
The fact Silverstone's nearly gone bust half a dozen times for the same reason, yeah Spa as well
Oh I'd also pay marshals
The European GP comes back as a rotational round with Portimao, Mugello, Nurburgring,or Hockenheim hosting ut
The fact that such important safety related staff, who take on such high levels of risk do not get paid is a fucking joke
^
Congrats @lethal sand, you're now on lap 25
Engines are as much as I'd like the V10s back, should stay the same maybe with a development freeze
I'm not sure a freeze works
Because what it means is you freeze the current order
It means no one else can catch up
A regulations freeze is a good idea but I'm not convinced about development freezes
I think I'd like to trial customer cars actually
What is actually wrong with Ferrari selling their car to Sauber or Haas?
Not entirely a bad idea
or teams can buy chassis and cars from a third party like Dallara or ORECA
which they can do right now, it’s just that they can’t sell the same one to two teams
*takes hit* so we’re getting rid of wings entirely because fuck em and also I am bringing back the Swedish Winter GP make them bitches race on ice idc
LOL
Nurburgring is not coming back because it is owned by Russians
“oh no red bull have four competitive cars not two” such a shame we might actually see a race
Then at least bring back Hockenheim
They are too poor
Wait customer teams can exist
Which is why historical tracks need some perks like lower hosting fees
I am not joking fuck wings and aerodynamic devices
Also I’m making brakes shitter
I’m pretty sure Haas were basically buying their cars from Dallara for at least a year a while back?
Hockenheim also never really pulled any significant attendance numbers which is also a massive problem
like Dallara was designing it not just making it
I think one of the years they even had the entire grandstand on the outside of Turn 1 covered up with a banner because they sold so few tickets
I thought the rules were that third parties couldn't sell cars to teams anymore
2016
Point taken
I still do like the idea of making the cars a little smaller and replacing DRS with push to pass
do you remember what went on with the Haas/Dallara situation Slendis?
Uhh I am not exactly sure but I think Dallara was making Haas pretty much everything a while back
Now they just make the chassis I believe
yeah that was pretty much what i had remembered lol
Let's also talk about the ticket prices for Vegas. I get it F1 is supposed to be premium, but for the sport to be sustainable in the US longterm, you can't solely cater to the very rich
Otherwise F1 won't remain a mainstream sport for long in the US
yeah they could enforce a cap for GA but they can’t if the promoters wouldn’t be making money
F1 was promoting Vegas themselves
So races F1 promotes themselves should have that cap
oh so it’s like NASCAR’s argument for not paying the teams more…
“well the tracks demand and deserve a massive percentage”
while not mentioning they own half the tracks lmao
I mean Vegas should charge tickets of $200 to get in on race day, premium but not "Only the 1% apply"
I personally think it is entirely fine for a race like Las Vegas to be a bit more exclusive than the others just because it is Las Vegas
Las Vegas overall is a bit more exclusive than... idk, Texas
and there’s two other options in the states yeah
Trouble is COTA is already one of the more expensive races on the calendar to attend lmao
Miami perhaps is a better example of a race that could use lower ticket prices
like i’m pretty sure even if you’re from Nevada flying to COTA still saves you money over Vegas
And there's plenty of other much more affordable motorsport events happening in the states, F1 isn't competing with those
Hell, NASCAR apparently is still eating F1's lunch in the US over ticket prices
well yeah cuz NASCAR outside of the LA clash is actually affordable
Even IMSA, $200 can get you a three day paddock pass for the 24 Hours of Daytona for example
Chicago wasn’t either actually
Chicago street course for NASCAR apparently was not a long way off Miami GP prices
Daytona is also stupid expensive
But yeah Nascar is mad affordable and still has the TV monopoly largely
it really isn’t? they’re like $150
and apparently are eating F1 's lunch with Gen Z in the demos
The 500? They climb fast
I mean Silverstone for a weekend with no seats pushes £500 now, even the Daytona 500, the biggest NASCAR race of the year is vastly cheaper than that, an average F1 race
I mean it's also the Daytona 500, of course that's going to be more expensive than the average race
That I find suspicious with Nascar since they're always having an issue with younger demographics but it's what it is
Morning Consult reported it
I think it’s somewhere in between
Besides the big races though Nascar is just a much better option as a viewer in the US
I’m not convinced by MC’s results
Nascar's current broadcasting situation is just hostile to viewership but such is life
But I also suspect ‘the core demo’ is underreported week by week by nature of not watching on cable
Also they only have data for the US, which… sucks
New one will be better at least
NASCAR constantly says they care about international expansion but there’s never any evidence of it lol
No point really when internationally it's harder to compete and they're making off like bandits in the US
I think that misunderstands like… kinda everything
That's how they think institutionally
Motorsport isn’t as much of a competition as almost everyone in it seems to think it is
F1 and NASCAR and IndyCar and whoever else always seem to think it’s zero sum
That F1 growing hurts everyone else, but it’s the opposite
Well y'know it takes a competitively minded person to get into motorsport to begin with
right so you’d think they’d know a podium is a fucking good result 🤣
Not winning though, is it
Besides that with the schedule around motorsports they are often competing for eyeballs on broadcast and in location
But I blame Bernie Ecclestone for that
But so are NASCAR fans that’s the thing that’s been so illuminating to me
Yes, I am
Dirt racing fans can be well jerks too
And if you get into Stock Car Discourse™️ you'll see similar vibes between dirt vs track people
Etc etc
Shittiness is universal amen
I mean many of them crap on pavement racing
but like a rising tide raises all ships that aren’t covered in holes
fans be jerks
We all agree RoboRace is stupid though. Human drivers rule
Don't remind me
Racing is about pushing the limits of man AND machine
I… actually don’t mind it but it’s not the same thing
I don’t mind something like it existing but obviously it’s never gonna replace actual motorsport
To me you take away the human driver, you take away a lot of the appeal of racing to me
You guys get me right?
it’s a pure test of engineering rather than driver skill, which is fine, it’s just a different thing
it’s like speedrunning vs TASing
Which is honestly why it'll be niche
yea
which is fine yeah
niche is okay, it’s a big world lol
Those cars have a superior power to weight ratio to even F1 cars
A car that light outputting 900BHP
anyway yeah at some point i need to make a video about this kind of thing but it’s at least 4th on the list so it’ll be a long time lmao
damn
Sprint cars are stupid fun
Indeed
And as I said, their power to weight ratio rivals F1
Also, I'd love to see the V10s back but that isn't happening
Nope
I propose F1 with flat 6s or a V12 purely for noise, rotary or 2 stroke engines purely for vibes
Thoughts on Supermodifieds?
Don't they race those in upstate New York?
Yea
Oswego iirc
Oswego Winged Super Challenge Race 1. A much improved car count and great Winged Supermodified race at Oswego Speedway June 3rd, 2023. It was nice to see cars rejoin the field after having to pit.
Yea, Oswego
That's not an Audi
stake f1 team kick sauber apparently
or it will just be called kick f1 team
in races
thats what is shown
Relatable
bruh still 46 days till we see an f1 car on the track
and only a few days til we see a Formula E car
i forgot
thx for reminding
Alfas official name was always sauber, alfa was just a sponsor
changed to Stake F1 team now
on countries that ban such things as Stake they'll use Kick F1 team apparently
yeah thats what i meant to say
That's just the media name
the official name is Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber
They changed it again by 1/1/2023
Stake F1 team kick sauber was their first name change on Dev 15th of 2023
Nope, still the same in the entry list
The new identity was originally flagged in the FIA entry last month as Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber.
That remains its official full identity – including the Kick Sauber chassis name – but the Swiss outfit will use the short version on a day-to-day basis.
I mean not even them is that committed to say the full stupid name every day lmao
https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/renamed-stake-f1-team-reveals-new-logo/10561780/
really thought they got rid of that goofy name again on the entry list
turns out they didn't
Time to drop the Sauber role
You don't want to support the Stake F1 team and spread betting awareness to children? smh
unfortunately for the rest of F1, they didn't
Crofty on their way to have a seizure when calling out the team name
he should probably slow down his commentary
dude speaks faster than he can think, you see it so often when it comes to him differentiating two teammates lol
You're assuming that Sauber will do something to be mentioned lmao
The stakes are high for Zhou and Bottas as they're nearing a Q1 knockout
shit
you're right
😂
Ik right I’d rather support a cocaine smuggling maniac with no regard for human life
Bro actually went ahead and dropped the role
I thought you were joking 😂😂
Lmao I just don’t want to have it when it inevitably changes color to lime green or something like that on here
them being a title sponsor while being a gambling company is like the least of my concerns as far as sponsors go, thats super normal in sports these days especially, hell the NFL is partnered with the three biggest sports betting services in the US
happy birthday Lewis
right that makes sense
the chassis naming rights were sold to Kick, but the team title sponsor is Stake
who tf gonna refer to them as stake
I sure ain’t
im calling them steak
tbh i don't understand why yall are making such a big fuss
🥩
"🥩
@hollow seal 🦶 😭 R"
(sorry for the ping teeem)
LMAOAO
istg if they don’t actually play this at Monaco GP this year ima riot
cause there’s actually race car sounds in it
istg
No fr
it’s even says this
Ayee redbulls 2024 song fr
benito red bull fan confirmed
Hello
ITS A FAKE FERRARI FAN LETS GO
no
Nothing
only february?
Yup
car reveals and testing is in february?
Yes
what a boring month then wow
Stake f1 is à weird name
No driver changes for the first time. It's not really a surprise its been a quiet off season
bottas fan fic
The only thing that we should be interested in is finding out the new name for alphatauri
Maybe a simultaneously, Red Bull/AT (new name enter here) car launch
Oooooo I hadn’t thought about that
WHAT 💀💀
im late to this but wtf is up with the stake logo design??? that does NOT look like an f1 team.... more like an energy drink
gee i wonder what other team also looks like a energy drink….
what is an f1 team logo supposed to look like
Unlike RBR which looks like an F1 team and totally not an energy drink
...good point
Can just always sleep until the first race
Guys Just remember that the season ended on November, we made it this far...
Its the time of the year to hype and dream even tho we all know its not going to be real
(Me as a Tifosi)
So errm, Haas updated their website and Günther is no longer listed
Pls dont tell me hes gone
Haas wdc
someones coming 10th in the constructors
Bearman to HAAS pretty much confirmed then for 2025 😉
That's kind of a given with Haas
Gunther Fok smashed his own door
it was probably gene smashing the door, then asking gunther to say he did it
Lmao
I feel like Haas will become 2015 Mclaren
If not worse than that, idk how things will go
Haas fans better pray that the VF-24 isn't the Williams FW42
(Or whatever that awful Williams car was)
I love how Niki Lauda told us that F1 went from just needing "Big Balls" to needing a masters degree in technology and computers to be able to drive in f1
True
ferrari
Alright, classic f1 liveries that would look sick on an f1 car from today
Haas sucks now firing steiner was the worst thing they could do n it's not even like they hav the best car in the grid
The red martini brabham liveries from the mid-late 70’s perhaps?
the last thing they need rn is a change in leadership
Like imagine rb firing horner which is not possible since he is the CEO or merc firing toto
haas is close to ferrari in more ways than it first appeared, it seems
I know right, n it's like if the team is messing up then just go n fire the race principal n the problem will be solved
steiner's not good, but there's so much worse with haas there's not much of a point
Well, i don't know about their highly confidential meetings to success n stuff but he was at least good for our entertainment 🥲
i really hope the new guy’s better
i cant remember his name but he just LOOKS trustworthy
What this ayao guy used to do before being team principal
I hav seen him on grid lot of times
Chief engineer I think
If they hav to promote a member from their race engineering department then they r focked
It's like a chain of promotions to make the replacement of the guy who got promoted
Haas doing haas things, sucks to be one 🥲
One last fok smash for the road
Lol, Steiner leaving was the last shit I expected lmao
I'll admit
he was an engineer originally, he’s been with haas since 2016 when the team first came into f1
obviously he’s had a lot of promotions so idk exactly what he did before becoming team principal but he’s an engineer by trade
You guys tell me this
https://web.archive.org/web/20231127071518/https://www.williamsf1.com/partners From the Archive As of 27th of November 2023
Williams and our F1 partners share the spirit, drive, and motivation to continually push boundaries and explore the limits of performance.
https://www.williamsf1.com/partners
From their official website As of the present day
He's had 6 years in that role and has done nothing but be useless prick.
sorry, 8 years*
yeah its true
he hasnt changed his approach to being TP ever
never learned from mistakes
Is it true that kimi Antonelli and Fran colapinto are driving for Williams in 2025?
I read on Twitter that Williams is going to turn into like a team to train Young drivers or smth like that (alpha tauri type)
Most likely false
no
no
yeah, vowles does not want that
I honestly won’t be surprised if RB is forced to sell AT by the end of 2025
Or start the process of selling at the end of this year
Feel like this is quite harsh given how cheap Gene is being
They had some initial success by exploiting a grey area which gave Gene false confidence in their approach. Steiner has always had his hands tied
I guess it's fair enough to hold him ultimately accountable but I would be surprised if this is going to change anything in the medium term
And I dont mean cheap in a "we spend near the budget cap" way, but actual investment in team infrastructure rather than relying on Ferrari and Dallara. The more you outsource, the less competitive you're going to be
Gene seems delusional. Is he expecting to fight with the likes of Alpha Tauri with renewed RB partnership, Alpine and Aston Martin? He'll be lucky to beat Sauber
Definitely is, I was just never a fan of Steiner.
I think Steiner already did everything that he could do
Given Haas' budget constraints, it's unrealistic to expect them to build a supercar in this situation. If Steiner were truly useless, Haas would have ceased to exist by 2020.
What was the main reason for hass to drop Steiner?
I mean he was overall a kinda bad tp
Difference in vision and lack of results.
Gene wanted to turn to a more technical leader as well.
Here’s hoping haas get better results in the future
Heres gene's statement
Bro has no interest at all
Ahhhh that makes sense any team would do that if they felt they didn’t want to be last in the sport they compete in
Don’t blame him at all tbh
Gunther was more focused on Netflix it felt like
huh
next level dts viewer
Apart from his driving conditions, the biggest challenge for Colapinto are sponsors. They hyped him up in Argentina at the end 23 because he moved to F2. But long way to go for him.
if he performs very well con F2 he might get some sponsors
i hope
Hopefully. Usually sponsors come the own country. And Argentina is not in a great place to spend USD for a sport that has followers here but is not the biggest Motorsport.
bro never should've left 2019 with the team
Firstly Rich Energy
Secondly they refused to listen to Grosjean who spent months telling them they'd made a mistake and they should go back to the old spec floor, and when they finally did it was way better. And they still ditched him just a year later. They refused to listen to the experienced driver they hired for his experience, even though he was completely right.
And that's before the whole Mazepin/Uralikali situation, before the whole hiring Schumacher and then ditching him anyway thing
He just made poor choices reliably
every major decision he made was a bad one
sure he made sure Haas survived during covid
Evidentially so did Gene because he wasn't willing to fire him (frankly sounds like a theme with him given he wanted to keep Custer over Preece in the 41 and Tony Stewart had to put his foot down, hard, in the media)
but that doesnt really negate his horrible managerial decisions
Poor on track choices, poor PR choices, put the team into awful financial situations, twice
It's a miracle he was still there
Ultimately I think Steiner leaving will be a loss for Haas because he became such a profile for the team
Even when the team was underperforming he managed to put the light on them and was always completely honest which people enjoyed
I do not think Steiner was all bad either because he was after all the driving force in a lot of major decisions which ultimately saved the team
He was never really fit to run any team but Haas but I think with what he was given he did an alright job
We will never know the full truth but it seems like it ultimately came down to Gene and him disagreeing on the future of the team
But if Steiner ends up being right in believing the team needed more investment then him being fired will just be further proof of the team operating with their hands behind their back because of Gene
I wonder what will Gunther say if/when he talks. One thing is for Haas to say they had differences in their vision for the team. Different when Haas comes out saying he was embarrassed.
Guenther wanted a real team and whined about it, gene wants status quo which is probably super inefficient since the third parties that build the car build for profit.
to be honesttttt
i like the new guy
ive said this a lot but he looks like a cool dude. and he’s been there since the start
omg
he's gone full blond
Holy fuck he’s gone full bogan
guess it's the only way to stand out when your driving has been completely anonymous
thank Alfa/Sauber for that
his legs are spread apart and its a wide angle so who knows
both Lewis and Russell have talked about how Mick did a fantastic job in simulator
so he’s just not there being a cute face
every high profile sim driver ever got called that lol
it's as relevant as a rookie driver being described as "willing to learn"
or a veteran as "having good feedback"
i mean they wouldnt really be able to say "yeah he was shit" would they
also that
he's still got a good relationship with Merc
im interested to see what he can do with alpine in wec though
hopefully less trip to the wall
fingers crossed
Toto talked about it too, i don’t remember which race where Merc were struggling a lot and they said Mick basically spent the whole night in the sim
i think it was Spanish GP or something
i might be wrong
as legendary as Jake Dennis' whole night at sim
or Gio
or Hartley
so it’s just not talking to make Mick look useful or something
yes it was
I mean Toto is also managing him
So
They talked to Williams etc etc
oh ok
Does anyone else support multiple teams or what 😭
What do you define as support
I’m an editor and I edit all my top three teams and have hella merch for them all
I have merch for teams I don’t even support aswell
lol
Messi the GOAT.
Tis be the season. Norris will get a race win 🙏
piastri gonna win a GP before norris
The delusion is strong with this one
Lets hope he goes to redbull
Possibly Sainz
I would think Ferrari would try to get an Albon before a Norris, Norris would be better off sticking it out at McLaren even if Ferrari was an option for the most part
Norris has said he’d rather stay at McLaren but Red Bull and Ferrari both want him
Red Bull I have heard but Ferrari I hadn't
Last I heard they were sniffing around Albon
And Ferrari and McLaren aren't different enough in performance to bite the bullet and play number two
Ferrari looking at Norris is about a month old news, doubt he’ll switch as long as McLaren keep putting out a better car
Albon was an option as well but I more see him going to Mercedes in the event Hamilton retires (Unlikely until South Africa is back on the roster)
I feel like hamilton'll go as far as alonso is rn
If either of them have a really bad season I think they’ll might consider they’ve done enough
Albon at Ferrari would at least be a considerable upgrade for him over Williams
Where the gain for Norris would be incremental while also losing his status in McLaren
alonso maybe not
bro pushes whether hes in a shitbox or a wdc car lol
Alonso idk how long he'll keep trucking but I hope forever
Real question is what dies first, Bernie Ecclestone or Nando's career
damn
Will teams take him though? Yes he has experience and 2 world titles but it’s not entirely on the driver
look at him rn
bros carrying aston martin
I’m aware
i don't have much info to base on though since his teammate isn't a fast one..
tru
So the hopes for him rest squarely on Aston getting good
shouldnt go too badly
they got a heck lot of funding, they got the brilliance of alonso ||they got stroll showing the world how not to drive a car||
Stroll was ok before Aston downgraded, even then Stroll was bottom dragging and Alonso was usually still getting some points
Even there there is a clear driver skill difference
Still, only takes a bad season
i mean throughout history stroll was mostly beat by teammates
tru
I mean (all due respect to Seb) the fact that he didn't beat Seb either year Seb was there is a concern
His 2020 was dire and he was never the same after 2018 anyway
wait what happened?
2018 Hockenheim
i will briefly take a look at that nr
Ah do you want spoilers or no
Oh lmao Seb spun out lost the lead of the championship and his home race
So uh
His second half of the 2018 season was extremely messy and just. Lost it.
He definitely had his moments after that but all the consistency of form for him was gone
Yep
do u think seb could've won 2018 wdc if that didn't happen?
Uh
Idk
He had a chance but also it's Ferrari and Merc developed well and Hamilton was very good that year as well
tru
Like. MAYBE if he got lucky and managed to get in Hamilton's head
But uh. I think Lewis got more in Seb's head than Seb ever managed with him
Lewis was fresh off the heels of the merc civil war, no way seb could win the mental games lmao
Seb is a generational talent, hamilton is in a different league entirely
Baby Schumi woulda never locked himself in a bathroom just to prevent other people from using it
That's why that nickname was dumb
Among other reasons
That being said put hamilton in any team other than merc in 2017 and he wouldn't have won, even if he keeps the car
This sounds like a pressure point for you, feel free to indulge us
Seb as a driver and Schumi as a driver are so far from each other lmao like in terms of vibes and actual driving
They're just Both German everything else is not similar
Seb could never
Albert Park starting to glow up on the main straight
Nothing really starting on other parts of the circuit as yet
Will probably be a couple weeks more before that
He needs to get back into a car
lulz
HOODIE DRIVING HAHAHAHAHA
yeah and ngl I don't mind it
if anything that's kinda why I vibe with him more than any other driver
Seb has very good vibes and the story of him being a bit scared and running out of a strip club has to be truly the most human thing imaginable
McLaren seem to be cooking up a rebrand of some sort
They're now fully owned by Bahrain so
is DTS out on netflix ?
Yes all 5 seasons
mclaren livery is one of the things i didn't expected to see today
f1 bingo'
feel like this could be the second one to get checked lol
english is not my first launage so i dont undertsnad whtas wrong
now i saw whts wrong
o
you can check out ferrari dnf already
Bingo is 5x5
Need 9 more options on board
-Yuki swearing on radio
-Ocon getting a time penalty
-Piastri being called an old man young hands
-Riccardo does a shoey
-Marko makes negative comments about Perez
Someone help me out
Ocon time penalty will happen before the season starts
-Red Bull gets accused of cheating
-Someone makes a Steak-Stake joke on air
-Russell makes a new meme about himself (Fuck he’s already on the bingo board for something)
-A new rule is created due to Max
-Bottas does something nude
-Andretti gets approved for a F1 team
will it increase the front wing's ram usage?
You now remember Oscar having to wait in the pits for his car to reboot in Bahrain

sexual attractiveness
personally i would put charles in S but whatever floats your boat
💀
true
You cannot put ocon over checo and ricciardo
Who is this guy and why should we listen to him?
Never seen him before now, so I’m not sure what his credibility is, especially so given he works for The Mirror
I'd take his word over news aggregators that flat out lied about web links going to places
both are shit lmao
it's the Mirror
who the fuck is that guy
based on skill??
how how much u like them
if it’s skill-based i’d probably move checo up to b and sainz down to a
hot ness
ah right
i think ur actually wrong
because
verstappen looks a bit like a pufferfish
in a cute way
but not S material
tsunoda d cus short
Ferrari on tuesday 13? LMAO
McLaren and Merc both already took that date 😔
also that leaves just Haas and Racing Bulls to announce their dates
cant wait to see sauber and racing balls
all the others are boutta be the same
especially rb's ass
leak: ferrari will be red and rb will probs be the same
Visa Cash App Racing

Honestly that too many words
Maybe just Cash App
Or Visa

Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F1 Team begs to differ

Which is worse
stake f1 team kick sauber or visa cash app racing bulls
visa cash app
Stake F1
Why not both? They’re both horrible to say and listen to
don't you like seeing VISA CASHAPP RACING battling the STAKE car? smh
both fighting for p9 in the constructors championship
☝️ 🤓 actually it's Visa Cash App Racing Bulls™
get it right next time
damn sorry
I disrespect the team smh
At least its readable unlike Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber
I’m still wondering why Stake F1 Team wants to Kick Sauber
AT have deactivated the account?! Tf is going on
They switching it to visacashapp racing bulls😭
VISA CASHAPP RACING BULLS?!
Yeah I knew that, just didn't think they'd delete their entire bloody account 💀

Impossible to hear when the tv is muted.

nicee
I wonder if anyone has photoshopped the front of an R32 GTR onto a VL Commodore Walkinshaw before
I got some vids somewhere
holy crap that’s bad
the name and logo in there don’t even agree with each other
insert your name here RB insert your name here F1 team
Visa Cash App RB is the official name
what does the rb stand for though
The press release only ever refers to it as "RB"
for all we know it could mean Red Bull as well
That is exactly what they want us to think
But officially they will probably say Racing Bulls or something
No one in the team has actually used the term Racing Bulls
so I'm starting to doubt if that's actually what it means
The real question is what is Crofty gonna call em and why is it ‘the former Toro Rosso’ or ‘the team from Faenza’?
truth
but the domains registered have Racing Bulls mentioned
they wanna use the RB for the f1 team like how they’re using the RB for RB Leipzig
RB doesn’t stand for Red Bull but whenever anyone sees the RB they think of Red Bull
It stands for Racing Bulls so that is what it officially means
But they know everyone will think Red Bull
Which is the point, obviously
confusion squad
Slendis has received the PR manager job I see
I heard somewhere it wasn’t racing bulls but literally just RB
like red bulls football teams like RB leipzig
Respect Williams racing
I was thinking of the same thing.
Crofty might as well call them Visa F1 (team).
Because money.
here will not be any track access allowed post race at the Australian GP this year
Fuckwits last year ruining it for everyone
In true Australian spirit they'll probably do it anyway
If they do that then there's no hope of it ever returning
They better 😭
it is most definitely racing bulls
it is racing bulls
but like the RasenBallsport in Leipzig, they won't use the full name outside of official full title shit
they better fucking not
ruining it for everyone permanently instead of just one year
they would deserve everything coming for them
Fair enough
Maybe just call them vcarbs if they make a bad racweek then we can just make fun of them fullstop
Because the logo itself is a meme template and we can just do alot of memes with it since the logo is way too simple and is in flat colors logo as well
speaking of safety issue
I wonder if they will upgrade the fencing again after a fan got hit by debris last year
Not really much you can do, the debris went over rather than through
well, fair
Well here is the funniest thing that happened to me
When I wrote The VCARB and the long for of Visa Cashapp Racing Bulls Formula One Team
This pop's up 😂😭💀
Guess I will call them VCarb Toro Rosso F1 Team
what about
STRATRB
or "the old Alpha Tauri"
wait
the team overall
should just be
"Strat RB"
Scuderia
Toro
Rosso
Alpha
Tauri
Racing
Bulls
and they're on the Red Bull strat
what
Minardi
Literally the best name yet
Just saw that haas expect themselves to be the slowest car at Bahrain
very wrong
He extended his contract with Ferrari
extention of unknown length
I hope he has an opt out clause in case things go south
I jest of course, but I do wonder if this means anything for Sainz when his contract runs out at the end of the year
I kinda hope he resigns
probably a wait and see for Sainz as to what others do I guess
yeah
I do wanna see some moving around
Like some f2 drivers moving up or reserve drivers
Maybe some people all might around next year
If either Bottas and Zhou go, you can bet Hulk will take the first opportunity to jump back to Sauber, which means Maybe Bearman comes in there seeing Gene is all "closer ties with ferrari, etc."
Checo might move to a new team if his performances aren’t good this upcoming season
If perez underwhelms again, i see him leaving
And i see lawson probably getting a seat
And astons reserve guy too
Lawson has potential to be a full time driver and not just a reserve
Definitely
Lawson would go to RB and tbh, idk who of Danny or Yuki would be promoted to the main team, would depend on how each of them do this year
And how Checo is doing too
well, this is presuming checo does leave
True
yea
Also im never calling tauri that current name. Its absurd
Same
It is just Racing Bulls
The race will probably be over by the time they finish announcing the name 💀
RB Tauri. Works for me
Racing Bulls
And then you got saubers new name too
I refuse to give that scummy gambling company any mention, it's just sauber
Drugovich is someone that also I can see maybe getting a seat
no way
No chance
Felipe getting a seat would actually be comical.
I mean.. williams could let logan go for him. You never know
Literally no chance
that'd be quite the downgrade 😭
Williams refused to sign Vesti in place of Sargeant so why would they get Drugovich instead of Sargeant
we don't know how Logan will do this year, he should improve, but by how much, who knows
I think they already invested so much in Logan already
If so, I don’t think they would replace him
Agree with you on that
If they wanted to let go of logan they wouldve done it this year
I can think of two.
Bearman and Martins
I'm not including Antonelli because he's a very big unknown.
Glad freedom is still on the grid 😭
I could see Pourchaire getting something as hes been rated highly in the f1 manager games. 🤷♂️
lol
Both bearman and martins have better stats im pretty sure
Theos rated 75 to start.
Now that is an interesting logic
Antonelli shouldn't be in the F1 convo for at least another 18-24 months, throwing him in next year would be way too early and would just ruin his future for sure, thankfuly toto wants him in F2 for at least two seasons to learn first
the only issue is, what if Kimi somehow wins F2 this year, he's in purgatory for a year
Lol my logic shouldnt make sense as i dont really follow too much f2 and f3
Theo built his own ship to enter F1 with, and then last year turned around with an RPG and blew it up
this dude had the most pathetic F2 title win ever 😭
I agree with you fs, bros gonna do a de vries
I see
Can't exactly do a de vries
he was hardly a rookie
mf had a careers worth of racing experience by the time he got here
and now he's frauded himself to the best seat in WEC
There was no reason why de Vries would be as bad as he turned out to be at driving a Formula 1 car
Bro had like all kinds of experience you could ask for
Sometimes things happen
nah bro give him the full season trust ! he would've been good ! even though he was supposed to be the team leader and not 2 tenths slower than a guy that beaten to a pulp by an immature frenchman !
Well back to the topic of who could change teams and gain spots..
NEWS: Charles Leclerc has signed a Formula One contract extension with Ferrari, keeping him at the team for "several more seasons."
Leclerc, a five-time grand prix winner, was out of contract at the end of the season.
More from @LukeSmithF1 ⤵️
But at the same time there's Mick Schumacher who wants to continue but there's no seat so he's heading over to WEC for the moment
My 2025 driver predictions
Merc ham rus
Ferrari leclerc Sainz
Redbull verstappen Perez
Mclaren Norris piastri
Aston Lance Nando
Alpine gasly ricciardo
Sauber Ocon Hulkenberg
Williams sargeant albon
Visa cashapp Lawson tsunoda
haas bearman Zhou
Interesting
Bet 10 bucks that Verstappen wins again
Yeah no way only Magnussen and Bottas gets the boot, 3 minimum because last I checked (I really don’t) we have 2 F2 champions waiting on a F1 car
Nobodies taking that bet fam
I would depending on how the first few races go
Max could get contempt being a 3 time world champion, if someone competes and pressures him he could be challenged
With a Mecachrome engine
UPDATE: A team spokesperson told @racefansdotnet that 'RB' does not stand for 'Racing Bulls'.
The team says the use of 'RB' is intended to bring their branding closer to that of Red Bull.
#F1 @AlphaTauriF1

The updated FIA @F1 entry list confirms the use of 'Racing Bulls' as the name of @AlphaTauriF1...
I know their marketing team is in the trenches
I thought you legit just copy pasted the 2024 lineup. But there’ll be more changes than that surely
Mateschitz turning in his grave rn
I'd guarantee he wouldn't care
Everyone is talking about them. Seems pretty successful to me. RB loves noise marketing
and the team is fueling it even more by saying the RB in the team name doesn't mean racing bulls 😭
“the RB in Visa Cash App RB stands for RB” brought to you by the team behind “the h in LMDh stands for h”
I just know that social media manager is fighting for their life
Imagine having to be the Stake f1 team social media manager
uploading scavanager hunts
working for a gambling site
no amount of money would make me do that
maybe a big amount
And no one cares about them 😭
I cant imagine kick being a big sponsor bruh
Kick don't deserve that 😭
can you have 2 title sponsors or are visa and cashapp owned by the same company or something
theres more sponsor than team name
You can have as many title sponsors as you want
Aren’t they broke as well
so what are we supposed to call your team then
don't count Ric out either
though yeah his showings last year were solid but kinda uneven
I'm a yuki fanboy
ricciardo is out of my picture
smh
AT have never been broke though?
they've been owned by RB since 2006, plus their issues in the last few years aren't really down to money
moreso poor management than anything
