Echelon 1.2.4 - server crash after another person joins
@undone bane hello sir can you take a look would be much appreciated
i updated from the fabric 1.2.1 version since i am using forge to 1.2.4
i tried 1.2.2 same result
yes that is significant problem, in the future dont just update mods.
You need to change tooltipoverhaul 1.3.0 from fabric version to forge, or you can revert back to echelon fabric version.
oh yeah i forgot about that
If it crashes after switching tooltip overhaul to forge, send crash in here. but that should fix the issue
thanks boss i will try it
also ensure everyone has same mods / versions
try this if having any crashes still.
yes try with hotfix then let me know
glad it worked! if you have any problems with that mod specifically let me know
well my mod has a set bonus system in place if you have 4 pieces of the same reforge on armor. I have a system set up that basically checks if a user has it active or not and marks them a certain way if its not active. There was a situation that could occur and cause that object to return null causing the crash. It was a simple fix tbh i just wasnt being safe in my handling the first time around
I am very glad it was a quick fix thank you for your attention and speed
Ofcourse, the logs help tremendously with debugging so without your help I wouldnt know where to look
The hotfix was a temporary patch, you can remove that hf version if youd like and update to 1.2.5 now posted on curseforge. Also, if you do want to update to 1.2.5, delete ALL echelon configs / profiles so the updated ones regenerate
