As a Commander your job is to ensure CLF have in the colony
Your main weapon are the sub-ordinates, but the most important are yours Junior Officers, Squad leaders and other NCOs
Important stuff you need to keep in mind before even rolling a CO
-
Its pretty hard to play CO, not mechanically, but mentality, sometimes your NCOs might not do exactly what you told them, but you cannot get mad
-
Be flexible, this just role will require you to sometimes bend over backwards for your subordinates
-
Dont fuck around, as CO, you are held to higher RP standard, dont walk around joking about killing civilians, if people see you making stupid joke, they will turn off their brain and kill civilians just because
helpful stuff you might want to address at briefing
-
You should grab latest one member from each squad to go on base security, Its not enough people to stop entire CLF assault on base, but It will buy you enough time for main forces to RTB
-
Establish clear command structure, most of the operations you do not deploy, you stay at FOB eyes glued to chat, reading communications between squads, example, "For Ground-side command Staff Sargent Vanquish will have tactical command"
-
Remind people of the Four F
Find - Locate CLF
Fix - have a squad suppress or straight up fight them
Flank - Small fire team move to the side and sneak around the main front line
Finnish - Self explanatory
General Strategies for combating CLF
-
GOVFOR base on map, you cannot leave the base for 30 minutes, so you have to find some way to kill time, talk with enlisted, hold briefing with NCO s, talk with your Junior Office
-
Base is the most important part, make sure you got one on ship-side maps
-
Set up Liason that talks to civilians, suggesting a JO
MOST IMPORTANT
DONT LET CIVILIANS APROACH YOU, THEY ARE TRYING TO GET LE LE EPIC SUICIDER CLIP
